HEROES SPOILER!!

To go nerdy for a moment, I was like "omfg dude!!" when they played "I don't want to set the world on fire," which is the theme song for Fallout 3, my favorite game. At first I thought when Peter injected himself he just got the ability to fly, but now I realise that it was empathy that he got back, and he touched Nathan which let him fly :) I don't see what people are complaining about, I thought yesterday's episode was really good.

I actually didn't mind it either other than them straight copying another thing from X-Men. I was confused a bit though, guess I wasn't paying attention much last season because I didn't remember a lot of stuff.

I think Peter cannot retain previous powers that he has absorbed. If you watched during the fight on the plane, Peter had Mohinders ability. Then, he absorbed Tracy's power, and he went to punch the gaurd. After he landed his punch, he yelled ow, and shook his fist like it hurt. I think he can only hold onto one power at a time now, and once he absorbs a new one the old one vanishes. This would definitly make him a lot less powerful.

Though I am not sure, I am fairly certain that this is his new power. It is much like Rogue's in X-men.

Rogue's in X-Men directly correlates to how long she is touching, for example if she touched somebody for a minute she would have their power for an hour. But that's not the extent of her power, she also kind of takes their mind also. That's why she has been semi-crazy to all-out-bonkers for a while now. Plus she also kind of drains their life.

But Peter could have powers like you are describing, I didn't watch the episode closely enough to really see.

Peter's character is just an absolute mess at this point. It's a travesty.

Take season 1 Peter. Naive hospice nurse with a "feeling" who turns out to have a massive Gary-Stu power, but it actually wasn't that bad because he had to learn to control all of his acquired powers and his lack of control led to lots of bad things. Pretty good character.

Season 2 Peter, he loses his memory. Re-learns about his powers, becomes an annoying hard-[wagon] in the process. Then acts like an idiot about regaining his memory and then acts like an idiot when he finally does.

Season 3 Peter, manages to not do anything with his powers long enough to lose them, then farts around being self-righteous and useless until he gets them back.

Season 4, no one can figure out what the hell his new power is (what else is new, seriously) but he seems to be slowly drifting back to where he was in season 1. Only he shouldn't be naive anymore but is.

Wow, just kill him off already. Only solution for dealing with a character that messed up.

hospice
I wanna know how you managed to make that type Oo

What typo? Peter was a hospice nurse for that one guy. Normally you go to a hospice to die but I guess since that guy was rich he got the in home treatment.

haha wow im stupid

I agree. they really need to reboot the whole series. these writers don't know how to handle such a huge cast. i'd be happier if they halve the heroes and focus.

[hide=] please tell me i'm not the only one who lol'd when peter comes out with a gun going "you calling me unstable?!?!" and then him flying his arse out of there ditching tracy =D>[/hide]

It was bitter laughter for me.

The writers are butchering this show so bad . . . just . . . ugh. Killing Daphne? What the [bleep] is this? Oh, Matt needs motivation to be against Nathan and part of Peter's Wonderful Team of Sociopaths so we'll get rid of one of the few characters that actually holds some water! BRILLIANT! It's Elle all over again except more pointless and with way worse implications.

Honestly, the only thing good about this season so far is the Hunter dude, with him challenging Nathan and pointing out exactly how much of an idiot he is. He needs to do that for the rest of the cast. The writers can come up with some crackpot deus ex machina to make that happen, since they don't seem to have a problem with doing that in other circumstances.

This used to be a good show :\

[hide=]I am pissed that they killed of Daphne, she was a nice character. It is disappointing that they felt that the only way to motivate Parkman to set himself against Nathan was to kill her off. On that note Parkman is now the most powerful hero in the series, next to Sylar of course. I like the pairing of the teen and Sylar, that will prove interesting to watch. His power is pretty cool. Peter's only being able to have one power finally gave him a weakness, I'm really glad they did it.

And I had this big nerdy grin on my face when Sylar brought Luke over to the dark side. Yes, it was an obvious Star Wars reference. <3:

Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color]

Hmm, now we are even closer to being an X-Men clone. We're going to have the good guys being like the X-Men and Sylar being like Magneto with The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Some obvious differences still of course but the similarities are too many.

Oh and does anyone else think that it was Hana Gitelman who was talking to Claire at the end? Last we heard of her was in the comics and she was incorporeally part of The Internet. She could bring all the heroes together and protect communication if she wanted to.

EDIT: Just checked out today's comic, looks like it isn't Hana, it was someone called Libertad or something. She could just be calling herself that though...

I just realized why Claire acts like a stupid kid. It's because she refuses to admit to herself that her ability is practically useless in helping other people. She acts tough, but the only thing she does is get herself in the middle of things. Kill her off jesus.

She'll just keep coming back.

We need another person with the same ability as Arthur.

Umm, Heroes does have someone with Arthur's skills; Sylar

Arthur could take someones power away permanently, Sylar understands how powers work. He just happens to kill most of the people that he gains powers from.
