Infact, the only change(s) were that Nathan was shot, and Peter saved the vial.

They had bits of the next two episodes filmed. Basically the vial hit the floor instead of Peter catching it, and Nathan got sick while trying to tell everyone about the quarantine instead of being shot while trying to tell everyone he could fly.

 

 

 

And technically season 2 ended in an explosion, when Peter nuked the vial in his hands.

Wouldn't call it much of an explosion though.

Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool is a good choice, Liev Schreiber as Creed is a little odd though. Normally Creed is much larger than Logan. Kevin Durand as the Blob is interesting, wonder how big of a part he will have. When this preview first hit the web people were saying that was Emma Frost in the video briefly, is that still true? I've always liked her character, in the comics lately she has really been getting better though. More 3 dimensional I guess you would say.

The acting will definitely be good from those two, LS just isn't who you would expect to be a Creed. It will work out cool though I am sure.

 

 

 

When I watched the cartoons back in the 90s Gambit was always my favourite also. Maybe because it was easy to play as him, all you needed was a deck of cards :) .

See, normally people like movie Iron Man but he has been getting a ton of [cabbage] these past few years in the comic books. Even the other comic book characters don't like him. I could feel the awkwardness in Mighty Avengers #20 when Hank Pym was screaming at him. I however started to like during the Civil War, even though he was against Cap (who is my fifth favourite super hero), and against my view point. Don't know if he would make my top 10 though.

I really liked Iron Man. Everything up until the "boss fight". Then again, I don't enjoy boss fights because you already know who is going to win.

I hate to double post, but this deserves to be bumped back up. The new season starts tomorrow, and I am looking forward to it.

 

 

 

Who else thought the super bowl commercial for heroes was awesome?

I don't even remember there being anything new in the commercials, but it completely reminded me that Heroes is starting back up tomorrow. I would have totally missed it if I hadn't watched the superbowl today.

I really enjoyed that ep, but inconsistencies abound:

 

 

 

If they knew where Sylar was going to be, why were only foot soldiers there? Of all the mutants they're going to capture, they know he'll be the toughest challenge. Bennet would've made sure he'd be there.

 

 

 

Why did Peter have to touch the other mutants before he can get their powers? He should've had *all* their powers just by being in the plane.

Disappointing to be honest.

 

 

 

Peter's being an idiot again, Nathan's being a [bleep] again, Noah's switching sides again . . . Combine that with the fact that nothing happened. A bunch of random tangents all added up to them being on a plane together, and it crashing. I wonder where we've seen that before? Only way better done.

 

 

 

Maybe this was just a bad introduction, because what it sets up has some potential. And the more I think about it the more that seems to be the case, because that episode just rushed through a crapload of, well, crap like it couldn't wait to get to the actual story of the season. Still not a great episode.

Yeah, they way underestimated Sylar. They should have taken atleast 3 teams, and kept hitting him with the dart things. But now we have a psychotic killer on the good guys side for the moment. ;)

 

 

 

I also thought Peter just had to be around the person in order to obtain their abilities. He should be super powerful once again since he has all of those abilities. Also, why did he bother holding on in the plane? He can fly, so what point is there to risking your life if you can just get out of the plane and follow it down?

 

 

 

 

 

I liked the episode, and I look forward to this season.

Well, atleast he was back for a little segment

He lost his original powers when his father took them. Then he injected himself with the serum and gained powers similar to his original. Now however, he has to come in contact with the person to absorb their ability, much like his father's power only his doesn't take them away.

 

 

 

I was also wondering why he kept holding on. He can fly and probably heal because I would imagine he would've made some contact with Claire in the past couple of months.

 

 

 

Although it was a little uneventful, it wasn't a bad episode overall.

Its like you guys forgot he lost his powers like Baconxl said... but I think that his new form of power absorption is better for the story so you know which powers he takes, its not as much of a guessing game anymore as oh does he have this one person's power? Now we'll know when he takes a power and which powers. I'm really glad though that they decide to throw Sylar's father in the mix so soon, but I don't think we'll get to see him for another 2 episodes at least.

Mutant internment camps seriously? Next thing we know Sentinels will start showing up.

To go nerdy for a moment, I was like "omfg dude!!" when they played "I don't want to set the world on fire," which is the theme song for Fallout 3, my favorite game. At first I thought when Peter injected himself he just got the ability to fly, but now I realise that it was empathy that he got back, and he touched Nathan which let him fly :) I don't see what people are complaining about, I thought yesterday's episode was really good.
