He knew how to perfect the "methods" of the people he caught and that's how he taught Dexter. stevepole Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I just watched two episodes of Dexter just because seeing it mentioned here reminded me I need to watch it as a friend recommended to me like three months ago.. It seems from the first two episodes that the Father is Dexter's mentor but has never killed himself as he's seems like was a pretty prestigious cop. They killed off Knox and Flint, I'm a little disappointed that Knox got killed, but Flint is fine. Knox could have been an awesome villain to have around along with Sylar. I dislike Tracy's character personally, but we'll have to deal with that I guess. Finally Ando got his powers! I was hoping they would show him getting them! I'm glad they gave him a cool power, not one of the stereotypical hero powers. And too bad Hiro doesn't have his abilities anymore. An awesome episode. I can't wait for next volume. It wouldn't be the first time he was suppose to be dead at the end of an volume.. Volume 4 looks to be very interesting though I can't wait. At this point we have no way for people to artificially get new powers, so I don't know how Hiro is going to get his back. But he did just drop the formula on the floor and it's not hard to piece together 8 pieces of paper. Of course there is no catalyst anymore either though. Also, how did Daphne come forward in time again? Traveling faster than the speed of light theoretically would send you back in time, but it couldn't send you forward. Do we know for sure what powers Peter got back? They left that open, he could have flown because Nathan was there or because he could before he lost. It would be cool if Ando met up with someone with powers and they kind of got a Fabian Cortez/Magneto thing going on. I don't really know of any other character with power enhancement other than F. Cortez (although a lot of telepaths seem to be able to "open up" peoples minds giving a permanent power boost). Think about this: Ando + Haitian turning off every power in the entire world. The more I thought about it, it could actually be explained somewhat. If you travel to another solar system 20 light years away at .99c then it will take a little over 20 years to get there, but depending on how fast you accelerated only a few weeks may have passed for someone on the ship. So what Daphne could have done is ran faster than the speed of light to get back to 16 years ago, then ran at exactly the speed of light for 16 years and for them no time will have passed. That would be interesting... Or Linderman + Ando? Healing everyone in the world! orrr the fat guy whos name I don't remember than can manipulate people... : Puppetmaster and Linderman are both dead though. If we are talking dead people then Ando+Bob would be awesome (everything on the planet is now GOLD) or with nuke-guy in S1, or with German-Magneto (he could pull the shades closed on TWO houses instead of just one). There was meant to another episode but it was axed and the episode before it was rewritten. I think the infection was meant to escape or something. Anyway they changed it at the last minute so they could set up the whole villians storyline I heard. Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man.
