My Top five from 2007/2008 are:

1. The Notebook -- I know It didnt come out in 2007/2008. Point is i saw it at the local cinema in 2007. And it is quite new. It's an amazing movie I reccomend you watch it. Be warned it's a romance ::'

2. Dark Knight

3. Street Kings

4. Heart Break Kid

5. Hancock

My all time top five are:

1. Shawshank Redemption

2. The Shining

3. The Godfather trilogy

4. Saw series (1, 2, 3 4)

5. Hills Have Eyes series (1, 2)

As you can see I'm more into thriller movies. But drama/Romance/comedies are also really good

What are yours?

1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

2. Power Rangers Movie.

3. Starship Troopers.

4. Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore.

5. Not sure. Want it to be Serenity, but I can't find it on Hulu. Gonna have to rent it.

A Clockwork Orange scared the [cabbage] out of me, to be honest, and I only watched the first ten minutes. That was just creepy, and wrong.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

In no particular order:

- Batman Begins/The Dark Knight

- The Prestige

- Memento

- Gladiator

- The Bourne series. (the books are good too)

These probably aren't my top 5 of all time, but they're ones that I really enjoyed that I managed to think of at this time. I may edit this later :P

1) The Shawshank Redemption

2) V For Vendetta

3) Requiem For A Dream

4) Goodfellas

5) 12 Angry Men

There is absolutely no way I could list my top 5 of all time...this is just a rough guess. I could list off 50 movies that I like of that caliber and still not be happy.

Didn't really watch that many movies this past year (In cinemas, at least), so I'll just do all-time.

1. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

2. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

2. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (It's a tie with TTT, can't decide which one is better)

4. National Treasure (The first one, second one sucked)

5. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Now, counting all the LotRs as one (Just think, once The Hobbit movies come out, all 5 will be Tolkien-based)...

1. LotR

2. National Treasure

3. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

4. 300

5. Eh...Ocean's Eleven, I guess. Or the Dark Knight.

You've got a really nice list. Although I haven't seen the Sion Sono movie. Have you seen more Jodorowsky, or just Fando?

I'll be honest and say that I've been rather uninterested in movies for the longest time and recently started. In no particular order, my favourites are.

Blade Runner

Blue Velvet

Dekalog (all 10 of them)

Shichinin no samurai

Rear Window

It'll probably change up in a couple of months once I've watched more stuff.
