In Canada, we don't have AP studies, only College/University streams. The University stream is typically more difficult so I suppose that's the equivalent of AP courses here. :P

I'm in Canada too - there is one level above university streams, which is the equivalent of AP classes. Very few schools offer them though. (That stream is called the "IB program")

Ah, I can't imagine what it'd be like then either. Although, I have to admit, I wouldn't want to enroll in it even if it was offered. Post secondary institutions are perfectly fine with the current system, so I am too. :P

Generally, how difficult are these AP courses ? Chemistry, Biology and Maths, in particular ?

No RPG, that's just [developmentally delayed]ed. Assuming both lanes are jammed, blue is holding up the entire left one until the right can be cleared. If he gives way to red then the left lane just gets even more jammed assuming he wont have time to let himself turn as well.

 

 

I always get cut off at the same intersection on my way home from wherever. It's a 4 lane road and the left and middle-left lanes can turn left, so I go in the middle lane, turn left, go into the right lane, turn onto sidestreet, home. But the people turning in the left lane ALWAYS come onto the middle lane. The worst was the other day when an old lady pulled a fast furious five move and cut me off, with her bumper almost touching the car in front of her, forcing me to slam the breaks.

 

I know the human population is incompetent, but come onnnn. Today I work at 9am but it's raining so I just sit on my ass all day. I guess I'll read Pandora's Seed. Hey, where did that reading thread go?

 

Umm...no. Cause if the red car is let on, and the blue car gets off, the "backed up" lane [to which the picture makes no indication of traffic levels] will have the same amount of cars on it before the exchange. Funny enough, now that I'm sober I can see that I'm arguing against British driving laws from the perspective of my Jersey style upbringing. No wonder you think I sound nuts.

Great, I'm ill. Great, I have a date. I wish I was in India, they would give me an injection that would stop the puking straight away. Granted, I wouldn't know if that needle was clean or what they were actually putting in me =P Really bummed out =( Ugh, shouldn't have said "bum" now... The other downer to this illness.

 

Going to play the snes all day urrr day. Had this snes since I was a child and it works alright =D

 

EDIT: Might be worth asking if anyone recommends any snes games?? I've got a couple but I reckon they're cheap so I'll be buying more.

I don't think Canada has a standard. Here we have Honours, specialized and general, except for in math where we have Honours, Pre-Cal, Applied and Consumer. Honours is just taking Grade 10+11 in both semesters of Gr. 10, then taking Gr. 12 in Gr. 11 and University 1 in Gr 12. I'm in honours Chem; I was in math but I dropped it because I didn't want to mess up my Gr.12 mark and not be able to get into engineering.

Yeah, I tend to agree with that. Like in my school you can take both Grade 11 and Grade 12 Chemistry in the same year, but only if you take it one semester before the other.

That's a nice looking pool. Mine is surrounded by a bunch of flowers and trees, which look nice, but there' always leaves and [cabbage] falling into the pool, making it a pain to clean.

 

 

Today it was ~60 degrees Farenheit. I went downstairs, got a glass of water, and by the time I walked upstairs it was pouring rain and thundering. No it wasn't, it was a constant downpour with thunder every 20 or so seconds. Then it hailed. Half an hour later, the sun is [bleep]ing shining and there's girls in the park playing volleyball....
