Spent yesterday nolifing on Khanacademy (Amazing site), so today I'm going to work on the last school thing I have to do before the summer. Then I can get back to watching Khanacademy. With a good conscience.

I feel like my mouth was violated by the dentist today. I went in for some fillings, I haven't had any for years, and she was all 'lol we'll just numb you up'. THREE needles. PAINFUL injections. The last one she said that it would sting, THEY ALL STUNG. Then I was waiting for it to kick in, poking my face wondering where half of it had gone. Then she drilled my teeth for ages and stuff... I could sort of feel one of them, it hurt. Then I was left with half a face working, traumatised.

The worst thing is I have to go back in two weeks for the other side... I'm terrified now. I now understand why people hate the dentists, it was traumatic :S

See if you can find a dentist that uses a laser drill, or "waterlase". I've got two fillings without anesthetic with it, and the worst that happens is that it stings a lot and your mouth feels weird for maybe three or so hours afterwards.

You can apparently find dentists that use it on laserdentistry.com. This may sound like an advertisement, but for someone who is trypanophobic like myself, it's the best dentist-related thing that ever happened.

I'm already paying for treatment where I am, kinda bitter that I'm paying for pain I don't want :P. That laser dentistry sounds really cool though. Tbh I'm not scared much of needles in general, I've had many vaccinations which didn't hurt much, but that anasthetic (I think it was novacaine) really hurt when it was being injected. I didn't think I'd be needing something like that. I honestly don't want to go again :(

Another thing is that novocaine doesn't affect everyone. My sister, mom, and aunt all have horror stories where they went to the dentist and no amount of anesthetic made them numb. You should probably ask if they have the other stuff, whatever it is.

My girlfriend has to put her dog down today. I'll be at work through it. [bleep]ing sucks.

Yeah my friend just told me about how 5 injections of anaesthetic didn't make her numb when she was having 4 teeth pulled out so she felt it all. It definitely numbed my mouth, it just hurt like [bleep] going in ¬_¬

O_O

Also, I thought the stuff they used when pulling teeth was stronger. Like David-after-dentist stronger.

That's what she told me. She said it only kicked in AFTER they'd been pulled out so she was at home before her mouth went numb =/ Scary stuff. I shouldn't think of it really, as I have another appointment yet. Then sometime in the future I'll need to get permanent fillings, provided the dentist agrees my teeth don't need pulling out or something. No more sugar for me, that's for sure.

Sorry to hear about the teeth Rach, I do hope things get better.

In my news today, I've been sleeping too much since coming home. I'm utilizing any resources to find a broadcasting job and still no luck.

A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

I broke my bike for a friend today.

Sorry to hear about that Racheya. Hope your teeth don't get pulled.

Been really tired lately. Probably getting burnt out.

Had two fillings in my life. Both have been horrendous. Not the dentists fault, but apparently I have some natural suppressant to Novocaine, but not in the way you would expect. It makes it work, but after longer than the 5-10 minutes they allow it to start working.

Obviously, the dentist was busy so I thought I may as well just have it done and get it over with. He hit the dentine. It hurt. A lot. Then I got home and my mouth started to go numb.

But yeah. It's better to have fillings than not have them. Obviously, I'd rather have not had them in the first place, but that doesn't matter now.

All this talk about fillings makes me smile... Only have one, and I got it redone not too long ago, although because of its odd location (outside of my last molar) he had to redo it twice... Novocaine always works for me though, although the laughing gas they give you doesn't do anything to me. But when I went to the dentist last, so did my mom and brother; brother had 3 new cavities, and mom had to have 4 redone, so I was happy.

There was something relevant I was going to post, but I don't remember it. Being able to feel only half of your tongue is the weirdest thing ever.

Edit: I remember. My car is screwed up, either the rotors are shot or the bearings or something's up with the brakes; it makes a horrid scraping noise whenever I brake.

Girl of my dreams surely? <3: Spents hours watching Bruce Lee movies, made her dinner, other random stuff then ended with clips of a funny japanese show. Since I've stopped playing Runescape things have gotten better in my life B-)

An aerobics thing came up on TV and my brother and I convinced my mum that repetitively practicing their techniques will make her a karate expert.

Karate Kid ftw

First day as a drum teacher today. Teaching 6 students  It's fun.

Got my Driver's License today :D

Now to spend the rest of my night trying to wrap my head around the chain rule for finding derivatives. It probably is pretty easy, but my teacher barely explained it, and the book isn't much better. In addition, I have to start reading the Great Gatsby, as my English final will be an impromptu on it. I haven't met one person who has actually enjoyed this book. Ugh.

Drumset? Snare drum? Explain! :o

Oh and Kalphite, I loved that book. So now you've met one. F. Scott Fitzgerald is brilliant.

I didn't really enjoy reading the book.

But I enjoyed talking about it in class and whatnot.

Full drumset. I'm helping my drum teacher out by coming in once a week and teaching some of his students for him (he has like 40 of them). One kid's pretty remarkable; he's paralyzed waist-down, so he hits the bass drum with his drumstick rather than using a foot pedal. He's pretty good at it, too.
