I have returned from my field trip.

You probably won't care about this, BUT - there was a show on Australian TV some time back called "Summer Heights High". Summarised, just the average highschool, all the main characters are played by one person (Chris Liley, he also directs it). It was a [bleep]ing hilarious show, I loved it.

 

New show by the guy, called "Angry Boys", premiered last night. I was constantly choking back laughter with tears rolling down my face. It's awesome. I recommend all of you go see it. (Both shows).

Today, I was an idiot, and managed to mess up shipping information (not entirely my fault, I didn't realize Chrome autofilled things, and it messed me up when it did.)

 

What are the odds of a package reaching me with the wrong last name, and town? It had my address and postal code on it filled out correctly. (I sent an email message from the site, the site claimed it would be "attached" to the order, and I included all of the proper shipping info there, so I pray that that works)

Today I got The Fellowship of the Ring game, from like 2002 or something, and through many struggles I got it installed and playing. I passed the Black Riders my game confused younger self could not pass and I am proud of myself.

If that was a 4-way intersection with no discernible main 'flow' of traffic, then he'd have to give way to the red car. However, it's a T-intersection and so therefore the red car is not part of the main flow of traffic and must give way to cars that are.

Its easy priciples to follow, its just people like the Road Authoritys make it all sound complex and difficult....

Today I learnt of the word aplomb. It's quite funny to look at.

No homework this weekend and art's fest is next week. Oodles of fun.

Arts fest is a week long event, at my school, where we just go to workshops instead of regular classes. These workshops are usually basket making, dancing, painting various things, photography, cooking various foods, watching movies, or beating the crap out of each other with foam swords. :thumbup:

I'm confused why so many people get this wrong. You clearly all live in rural or super suburban areas, cause it's common sense to let the guy out into the busy road first, because otherwise he'd never get on the busy road. Clearly Blue is on a main street [avenue] and Red is coming out of a residential area [or parking lot, hard to tell]. If Blue did not yield right of way, Red would never be able to leave that street, causing a traffic back up. Blue [given that he's turning anyway] would be slowing down, and should allow Red right of way so that the [wagon] behind him don't run him over.

I dislike that today is Friday the 13th. I dislike waiting to hear how my dad's court case is going. I dislike this lingering headache I've had since yesterday's migraine. I dislike today.

I didn't even realize today was friday 13th lol.

Picked up my tux today (for prom). It's pretty sweet, black and orange. I'll probably upload a picture or two from prom for you guys so you can see me all fancy and [cabbage]. And maybe my girlfriend too. But I know you all just want to see how hot I'll look, not her :wink:

I got sunburned bad today. Any advice on making the pain less/burn go away fast? I slathered on a bunch of aloe vera already.

 

Now I lack initiative to work on my research paper on math in disease and medicine. I'm writing about epidemiology and patient dosage calculations... thrilling.

 

And I've been listening to the same 8 Green Day songs for the past hour....

I live in a rural area, but everyday I'm driving about in the city. I spend about 5 hours a day driving in city environments. Red should be giving way to blue as not to interrupt the flow of traffic. I'm in situations like this a dozen times a day. I've never been stuck where the red car is for longer than two minutes, and most of the time I go to traffic lights I'm waiting about two minutes anyway.

I'm pissed off right now. I bought GTA:SA off the Xbox marketplace, only to find the bike control system is broken, basically making the game unplayable as you can't beat the mission where you have to ride your bike. Hopefully there's a workaround, but it just makes me mad they'd put a game up for sale that's unplayable.
