Working 5 shifts a week is hell. I don't see how people can do this for 40+ years without going crazy.

my last meal was stale pretzels dipped in microwaved marshmallows so I'd be fine with risking electrocution from the slow cooker in the shower scenario if I had a slow cooker and food to put in it

Tbh ramen isn't even good. There's much better cheap food out there.

Of course ramen isn't good if you just throw it in water like a common peasant. Throw an egg in there, cut up a hot dog, then add some butter and pepper. That's a god damn gourmet soup for less than $3.

Pssst there's also a seasoning packet :3. I don't actually mind Ramen that much and I'm not trying to live on it to save money lol.

That seasoning packet has enough msg and sodium to kill an elephant lol

honestly tho campbell's chunky soups are where it's at. so much flavor and fillingness for like $1.50 a can MMPH and it takes less effort to prepare than even [bleep]ing easy mac

Is that a real question? You can buy Ramen packets at any grocery store. I would probably through out Walmart or Costco as two places that'd have a large inventory of Ramen. 

I want just the packets though, not the noodles <_<.

Is that something you can buy separately? I don't think it is. Google it?

Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but all I found via Google was either the full packs or people asking the same question! Maybe I'll try bullion cubes or whatnot, but it just seems strange that they won't sell the packets by themselves.

Bouillon cubes will probably do it, although most of them probably don't have the MSG content in ramen packets that we've grown to love.

 

I actually had a bunch of spare packets kicking around for a while since my ex was allergic to them for a certain brand of ramen.  I have definitely thrown them away since then though.

If you're looking specifically for the ramen flavor packets, why not just buy a bunch of instant ramen and just throw out the noodles. Instant ramen is usually like 10 cents anyways? 

I guess that works, but then I get tempted to eat the noodles too, and...they're a little plain otherwise, in addition to making me consume more calories. I may have to sacrifice my privilege of using the express lane if I buy too many though :P.

Bonnaroo lineup dropped today, looks like it could be decent.  Pretty solid hip-hop line up with Kendrick, RTJ, Atmosphere, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib... Plus flying lotus, Shakey Graves, and a bunch of other cool stuff.  

 

If I don't have a big boy job come June I might make the trip down.
