I've been meaning to watch that, even if it really looks like a generic tsundere TEH RIE anime.

 

 

 

Aria the Natural is amazing. I don't think season 1 filled me with this much happiness.

It's like my first time going back to watching shonen stuff in a while so it's okay for me. I just watched Haruhi and I was expecting a different solution, like a date or something, but ug, thank god it's over with.

Nice! Aria needs to have more episodes like the one in the first season where Akari meets that woman on the 'other side' of Neo-Venezia. Watching the water come through was easily one of the greatest moments in that season.

 

Yeah that episode was great. That and the one where she had to deliver the letter.

Absolute favorite?

 

Hmm...probably the new Pandora Hearts at a perfect 10. Close at a slim 9.9 is Naruto Shippuden. At 9.8 would be Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning. Maybe 9.8 as well or 9.85 would be Trinity Blood. At 9.7 is Elfin Lied. Then I jump down to 9.5 to Japanese dub of Yugioh 5ds. Yes, it's a good anime. Anybody who thinks otherwise just doesn't like the concept of minions fighting of any kind or just thinks 4kids translates and doesn't mutilate plots.

 

Finally, at 9 would be Blood+ and the first season of Zero no Tsukaima. The series just went downhill after that for some reason. Eking out a slim 8.5 is Rosario+Vampire S1. At 7.7 is Vampire Knight (both seasons were roughly the same). Pretty much everything else at that point is not worth mentioning because it just barely makes not mentioning or just plain sucks.

 

 

 

I haven't mentioned classics like FMA because i haven't watched/finished them. Quite frankly, I'm too lazy :oops:

I didn't watch anime past my childhood (Pokemon, Digimon, DBZ, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc.), so I never really had the time to get into other shows like Bleach, Naruto, Inyuasha and One Piece- which are all amazing according to my friends who still watch anime/read mangas to this day. I just recently re-watched Digimon Season 1-3 (I refuse to watch Season 4 and 5 =\) on YT, and now I'm working on DBZ- Episode 96, just after Goku turns SSJ. Hopefully I can find Yu-Gi-Oh on there too :)

I love Dragonball and DBZ. Just started watching Dragonball again and I love the ridiculous sense of humor in it, and how Goku is so blissfully ignorant to everything around him.

 

 

 

DBZ up to the end of the Frieza Saga is amazing. After that it gets a bit ridiculous....The Android and Cell sagas are okay, but I don't care much after that.

Me too! Haha oh man, Vegeta made me laugh so many times in the Ginyu Saga, I can't help but love his arrogance and insolence even when he does some unforgivable acts. And speaking of Goku, it reminds me of how they drag on scenes much longer than they need to be, at least I'm prepared this time for the length of the final fight between Frieza and Goku :lol:

If you haven't watched DB you have to. It is 10x funnier than DBZ (albeit the action stinks comparitively), it is rarely serious and Bulma is abused in sexual ways far too much.

I've also been watching a lot of Pandora Hearts, an anime my friend recommended. It's odd to describe, there's lots of links to Alice in Wonderland, a bit fantasy-ish.

 

 

 

I still need to watch Elfen Lied, despite having supposed to have watched it about half a year ago. I get sidetracked with new anime though. I've completely fallen behind on FMA Brotherhood and I'm supposed to be watching K-On!

 

 

 

I told my brother off today, he's watched all Lucky Star, and MoHS, and he's only 9. He says he likes them but I don't want him watching stuff like that really considering the links to Otakuism and all that jazz. I tried to get him to watch Naruto but he thinks it's too weird. :| I'm a bad influence on him I think.

Get him to watch Gurren Lagann, G Gundam, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and see what happens just for the hell of it.
