We all moan about how we could've done things better, how things are bad, and how the hell we're going to make the next million? Not often do we stop to reminisce(sp?) about how we've achieved the unachieveable, to our knowledge, and how we really did shine. There's two parts to this thread really.

Post your latest and greatest achievements, purely so you can get recognize it, note; this isn't a Rate this! intention, it's just an alternative to the darker views.

 

 

 

Why do we view in negativity, are we positivley proud?

 

Please also with your post, state why, (and if!,) people do view their previous actions in lieu of negativity. This is also the real point to this thread, are we a negative generation? For example, Rate This! "100 cmb lol, 3/10 - not hard." But is it? Do we not recognize the hardships that we take as an ease.

Pointless: 24k Regular fletching knives

 

 

 

To be honest alot of people are just plain [wagon] these days.

 

 

 

If its been done before people think its easy, when its not, to be honest any skill over lvl 60 is tough, you just have to take things into perspective.

Greatest acheivement: Gold cw set

Yeah, it's what it means to them that counts. The diminishing thought of someone mocking your achievement, when you're extremely proud is somewhat, displeasing. Thoughts on why they are?

Yep.

I dont actually see any obvious reason why somebody puts another persons achievemnt down.

 

 

 

Only reason i can see is that they are deep down not nice people, you yourself achieve nothing by putting somebody elses achievemrnt down, so there is no logical reason why.

 

 

 

Only time i ever put an achievemrnt down is when it has been no-lifed to the extreme, i.e the recent debate in the picture thread.

Himm, my "best" would be 90 summoning, spent 150m barraging\bursting lobsters :wall:

 

 

 

My "best\latest" would be earning 540k tokul (and counting!) from the pits. Then again, I spent around 15m on everything from barrage runes to potions to scrolls\pouches, so I guess its not that great. Still fun, though. And I've made quiet a few friends their, so I guess that counts for a good achievement :

Why was this reported & moved to questionairres? The thread indicates the main purpose isn't the achievement, it's what it stands for and why it can be diminshed so easily. Please move back.

I would re-phrase the title to seem more like a discussion and then ask a mod to move it back.

well mine would be 70 atk nuttin fells good like finaly being able to use a whip :

My latest achievement is 99 Fletching, didn't even bother with a post in the 'Rate This' forum. IMO it's a really noob skill, but at least it got me some levels and total experience \ .

Latest: 99 Hunting (im 98 but im 4k from 99, waiting for my party)

 

Greatest: Im not sure, maybe 17m+ fishing? :P

I can't honestly say why so many put another persons achievements down. It's like as they were bitter that they didn't achieve the same... so they go a'la "ahh! 85 smithing! I don't have that! 3/10, be happy, noob!"

 

Can someone get an ego-boost by being an [wagon] in forums? Probably. [/facepalm] The reason people post an achievement is because they want it to be appreciated. Not buried. If a person doesn't like what they see, they shouldn't post. And if they absolutely must, they mustn't come about yelling "You wasted FIVE MINUTES of my life!!!". They made the decision to post, they wasted their own time, no one else to blame there. :roll:

The key to being happy in RS is caring what you think, rather than what others think. If you want to think 99 Cooking is a great achievement, then who's going to stop you? That's all that matters, because someone out there is always going to put your achievements down. In RS, you get made fun of for everything. So just worry about your own opinions when it comes to your own success and you'll be a happy player. In other words, choose self-satisfaction over reputation. :D

Greatest: 99 firemaking or all non-cbs 70+ (havn't done summ)

 

Latest: 95 fishing

Greatest: I know level 60 pures can do this, but I was always pretty proud of getting my Fire Cape lol. Also, 83 Slayer!

Most Pointless: Probably Firemaking lvl 86... but imo no acheivement is pointless in RS really, if you wanted to do it and acheived it then good on you.

Greatest: All stats 70+

 

Latest: Ranged 80

 

 

 

It's not that good, but it will become better. Currently working on solo sara stats, after that going to solo sara until I have money for 99 farming :

most pointless : 4k cabbages collected :roll:

Latest: 73 Slayer. I feel i have achieved something each time i earn a level

 

Pointless: Nearly 600 Cw Tickets. Don't really do much other than look nice. I have wasted alot of time there.

Yeah, I've scanned through Rate This! a fair few times and you tend to notice on easier achievements like, 3/10 not hard. But are we really rating a minor lvl up, or the attitude & devotion put into the level? I think the latter.

Interesting, people demerit things to jealousy/ease of their achieving.

Pointless: using up 30mill for 80 herblore from 70.....could have been cheaper but i was in a rush :oops:

greatest: getting onto the top 21 cooks few years back with 24.7mill exp lol

pointless now: getting 87 mining back on rsc, i havent gained a mining lvl since before RS3D came out lol
