Perhaps the individual who named it just wanted something simple? I'm sure he didn't count on somebody actually noticing and making such a big deal out of it.

General Graardor does not count as a goblin. His three sergeants do, but he does not. >.<

 

 

 

My friend was doing his goblin tasks at Bandos W6, killing the sergeants, while he was going 85. General Graardor doesn't count for any slayer tasks.

 

 

 

Although I did convince a couple friends that he counts as a hobgoblin. One of them spent a week trying to get a hob goblin mission for W6 Bandos... XD

 

 

 

Guys we have confirmation of him not being affected by Goblin Tasks right here :shock: ... And to the people who think he's not a Jogre because he wears armor, anyone with half a mind would realise armor in a Battle of the Gods is a good thing.

 

 

 

He has Teeths like Jogres,+ skin like/Jogre/goblins, and also when i saved a picture of him, it saved as "Jogre_Body"...

 

 

 

So he might be Jogre for all we know.

I checked the source of the page. The name that Jagex gave to the file on their computers is also "ogre_body.jpg".

 

 

 

My opinion: that's just what some guy at Jagex named his screenshot. The General is one of those monsters in the "other" category.

Hes probably a mix of everything, or maybe what's left of one of the goblin tribes

when you take a picture of a rat, and save it, do you save it as rat, or do you use its full scientific name. Seriously, though, i find it odd that you have marked it as a "jogre", when other people get the pic marked as "ogre"... inconsistency ftl.

To me, he looks like an ork/goblin, not much of an ogre. Ogres seem too human like to be related to Graardor. Or am I thinking of giants? Graardor doesn't look like an ogre, but more of a jogre. He seems pretty much like a big goblin to me, however. He does have goblin underlings after all.

in order to get a half-ogre-half-goblin, something has to happen between an ogre and a goblin which given their comparative sizes I deem highly unlikely at best
