You don't really see others doing that except Hollywood Undead and The Sound Of Animals Fighting (though that's not really a band, more like a group), and they all came AFTER Slipknot. You forgot about Kiss. One of the most influential bands to ever play. That was makeup. And if you're going to mention them, you may as well mention pretty much every Black metal band ever as well. Crimson Glory's masks predates these suckas.

August 26, 200817 yr first time i post in this thread (i think) I've listened to psychosocial and parts of the other songs. its actually way better than their previous albums, yet it still sucks imo. Why even try with that idiot? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump.

August 27, 200817 yr I was dissapointed after the first listen. Best track IMO was All Hope is Gone. There was a fair few 'Stone Sour'ish moments but not as good as I'd expect from Stone Sour such as the Psychosocial chorus. Is anyone else off to see them on their December tour of Britain? I'm not a massive slipknot fan but my mate is and I'm a massive Machine Head fan so I'll be going mainly for them. Seeing them at the MEN. August 28, 200817 yr Psychosocial (debut single): very good song. Little more hardcore than my taste, but I still liked it very much. All Hope Is Gone (title track): Very hardcore. Didn't like as much as "psychosocial". There's just way too much noise...even for a metal head like myself. August 29, 200817 yr Man, this album is killer. I love it. Snuff and Sulphur are amazing songs, and Gematria(The Killing Name)has so much truth in it. I seriously think this is their best work yet.
