I forget who wrote it, but they thought they might have had testicular torrssion. The thread turned into a discussion of a crate of rubber replacement testicles and ball jokes. There were lots and lots and lots of sig quotes from that thread.....

If I remember correctly the testicular torsion actually got the topic starter away from school and consequently the Virginia Tech shooting. Still can't remember the guys name but yeah.

Besides the obvious "Ever Caught Them" and "The Funny Pictures Thread", from my time in off topic I enjoyed the "Buttered Cat" thread a lot. No other topics come to mind.

I swear Testicular Torsion was made by Magekillr, I'm pretty sure he goes to VT, and yes, it did keep him (Or whoever it was) in his dorm the day of the shooting. :|

 

Quite a classic thread though. My other favorite has been deleted, it was about the guy who accidentally ate a bottle of soap or something. Most of it has escaped my memory, but what I can remember was epic. Perhaps someone else remembers it better.

 

It wasn't really off-topic, but rather MM&TV...The end of the anime thread, as well as the short-lived Family Guy thread were quite funny.

 

I think I'm forgetting a great one. It'll come to me in the middle of the night, I bet.

The Circumcision Thread was pretty stellar.

After two hours of searching, I was unable to find the [wagon] hair thread. I even became so desperate as to search through all the topics several active members have posted on in the past two years.
