Well I made this thread to talk about government conspiracies. Please give links they'd help a lot

 

 

 

here's a 9/11 conspiracy. When I heard this I was amazed. Watch the video...it all makes sense.

We were away on a holiday when the argument happened so we couldn't check the internet to back up our arguments so it didn't really go anywhere. Conspiracy theories always sound so compelling because it's much more interesting to believe it's all a coverup.

That conspiracy isn't true, there was a show on History channel about it and it disproved EVERYTHING in that video.

Most conspiracies are normally false anyway, regardless of what it's about. Same with things like Roswell etc.

Conspiracy plots are interesting, regardless of weither or not they are real. The well thought out ones are just really great entertainment...

 

 

 

 

 

With 9/11, I've still got mixed feelings. Either it was a false flag attack staged by part of the U.S. government, or the Bush administration simply took advantage of a real terrorist attack to start another money war. Either way, the Iraq war and the destruction of constitutional rights were not justified.

 

 

 

In my opinion, something like 75%-90% probability of the latter.

Edit: HOWEVER, I do think that the gov't took what happened on 9/11 and used it for things they wanted, claiming it was to stop the terrorists. The Patriot Act was actually written long before 9/11, they just knew that it would be impossible to get it passed, seeing as how it violates so many basic rights. Post 9/11, they knew that our fear would get the better of us, and that as long as they told us it was to 'protect' us, we wouldn't say anything as it was passed. There's dozens of other examples, but I don't have all day lol.

I think most conspiracy theories are baloney made up by bored people or people who want others to distrust the government for whatever reason.

 

 

 

I read that Flat Earth theory thing and well... it seems ridiculous to me. Sure, they seemed to have disproved almost every claim against the theory, but still... how is circumnavigation possible, then, if you fall off the side of the world if you continue in a straight line? And what about satellites, which orbit the earth because the rate they fall toward the earth is fast enouch that the world curves away, as Newton theorized? If the world was flat, satellites would just drop down into earth. Oh wait, the government is obviously hiding that secret too, and is somehow secretly refueling satellites frequently without citizens noticing anything flying toward outer space. Chances are if the government was hiding something, it would come out eventually.

 

 

 

In fact, no matter what the government does whether it's about the earth's shape or a terrorist attack, there will always be conspiracies. The problem is, the government has seldom managed to keep things hidden for so long besides things that are rumored to be under government control like Area 51. There's no way the governments of the world can keep a secret of a flat earth for centuries. Everything kept secret by a major power or group is eventually leaked by a traitor or slip up or just plain "you can't hide it forever".

Think about it, if the American government has no problem in demolishing 2 major buildings and killing 3,000 innocent civilians they why wouldn't they kill 2 more college kids questioning them? :|

If "the government" could pull off 9/11 with no one leaking the truth, I'm sure they could find a way to make the film makers die in a car crash or something. Making sure no one spills the beans, I'm sure the government would have noticed a couple of people making/researching 9/11 and stopped the film from ever being completed in the first place.

Tbh, I think our gov't just likes to [bleep] with us. Leak some info, cover it up, leak some false info, cover it up as though it's real, etc. Sure, they could make their deaths seem like an accident but why bother when they could blow it off as just a couple of crazy people making up new conspiracy theories? The gov't doesn't need to kill people to get things done, they just need to make sure they keep their stories straight and deny, deny, deny.

Even if they manage to make their deaths look like an accident, it will not erase suspicion. In fact, it'll add to the suspicion. Nothing hides from the media. Word will get out that the men who died happened to be 9/11 conspiracy investigators. Plus, a video of 9/11 conspiracies being removed would add to the suspicion. Killing them would just make them a martyr to the cause and bring more supporters. And as someone put nicely, if a project has over zero people involved, word will get out eventually. Creating such a major undergoing in total secret with absolutely no clues that anything ever happened is very hard to do, maintaining the secrecy is just as hard.
