iurgh9u3gh98
I know threads like this have been made before several times but this just pissed me off to the point where I have to write something about it. I was ranging at blue drags with my crystal bow I really was worried about dying since im lvl 113. When I was picking up stuff everyonce in awhile a drag would hit me. Eventaully though they became unaggressive so i was safe now. I was on 30 hp with a full inv of bones and hides right when I click the teleport to fally button a drill sargent stops me. This annoyed the crap out of me because just dropped full camo for bank room yesterday and have full camo again today from the randoms. But i got over that and did his push ups and star jumps and whatever else gets him off and when I appear back in the dragon lair I have a small lag [bleep]e. Then i see the message saying I died. There was another guy there with me so I figured that atleast he would be able to repair my graved seeing as he as probably a foot or two away. So I immediately hall balls back to my stuff and right as I use my dusty key on the door I see your grave has disappeared. This pissed me off so I confronted the guy....his response was trying to play it off like he couldn't hear me. Ended up losing black dhide top and bottom archer helm archer ring and my crystal bow that I was trying to degrade. I know its not really that much but its mostly the fact that that a guy standing that close to it wouldnt repair it hell even one repair and I would be happily degrading the rest of my bow now. Also thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this
Zierro
It sucks but what can ya do? It's not like they are 'supposed to' do it, they have to choose to do so. It's just like spot-stealing if you ask me. Yeah, some people can have the courtesy to put others first, but there's not much of an argument you can hold against those who don't. Zierro
Ya I know the only real reason I posted this was because I was in a pissed off rage but now im over it. Good that's what this forum is for. And just for the record, it irks me too and I do world hop, repair graves, etc. I was just saying that there is really nothing we can do about it (except vent \ ). funnisam
i have actually had good experiences with other players repairing my grave; i was at zamorak gwd, soloing after my friend teled out because he was low on hp with no food. so kril hits a 44 through my prayer, im left at 13hp, so i tele out as well. then i go to varrock, start to run to the ge, but i end up in falador. Why? because i hadnt used my anti poison and kril poisons for 16 >.<, but luckily a random passer by blessed my grave, which i thanked him for. Mylez
There isn't a lot you can do except play it safer next time, don't wait until you're on 30hp then tele, in a way that's asking for trouble. It's sods law you'll get a random event. You're better of (imo) teleing whilst on full hp, or with at least one piece of food remaining. Bad luck I'm afraid,
Boris5000
it is disappointing that there are people like that in runescape, I would repair some ones grave, even if it was a level 20 with full steel, I would repair it and try to pm them to come back Luck be a Lady

Makoto_the_Phoenix
The thing about this is that people don't always have an obligation to be courteous. I'd strive to be personally, but if I'm in a semi-dangerous place and someone dies, it isn't like I don't repair their grave because I'm a jerk -- either I've been using my prayer, or they weren't prepared well enough for that place. Lag [bleep]es happen, but it isn't like you don't know your own computer/ISP. Prepare better next time and don't rely on others to help you out all the time. DieselX
It's even worse in real life. You get mugged, agressed etc, and people never come to save you or even call the police. It's actually recommended to scream "Fire! fire! fire!" when you get attacked, because people are more likely to come out of their house if you say that than if you say you are being mugged because they don't want to get involved. The world is full of noobs :boohoo:
Ravenkana
I'd be upset because a random event caused this. Jagex announced they were going to remove them, what, six months ago? If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
failbait
I generally repair graves, but sometimes I don't have the prayer points to. Keep in mind not everyone keeps their prayer fully charged all the time. It might not be the fact they're being ignorant, just that they have no pray. Try buying a longer lasting gravemarker, that's pretty much the only guarantee you have when it comes to dying. Fire Cape - Aug 14, 08.
Omali
it is disappointing that there are people like that in runescape, I would repair some ones grave, even if it was a level 20 with full steel, I would repair it and try to pm them to come back It's not disappointing, it's to be expected. It's human nature to satisfy one's own wants and needs and not care about anyone else's problems. Just take a look, it requires national holidays and the lure of the day off of work to get people to recognize, say, presidents or Martin Luther King Jr. That's why we need police to remind people that it's not ok to riot because your team won/lost a big game. I play the game to play the game, not to babysit other players. They'll get treated exactly how they deserve, depending on their behavior. It seems as if the rudest players in the game, after dying will pm me "omg plz bless grave". Sorry, can't read your text, it's all blurry. I also find it somewhat arrogant for people who expect someone else to "drop everything and take care of me" just because they couldn't play the game right and died. People are always complaining that the players are being babied in Runescape, but then when any form of difficulty comes in, players complain that they aren't being helped enough. Get a consistent viewpoint already.
Trollface
I've let many people die at Aviansies before and bot bless their graves while I was going for 4k kc. Why should I waste my prayer for some guy? 20k isnt going to replace the prayer I lose blessing them. And besides, if they come back alive, I again, have more competition for the best aviansies. I've had plenty of noobs whine to me about dying there via PM, and I ignore them every time they do that.

There is no requirement to bless/repair another player's grave. I think the solution would be for Jagex to finally do something about random events. Teleports should not be interrupted by anything other than the Teleportation Matrix Glitch, since that's the only event which doesn't send you back to where you started. ~ W ~
rook_2222
If I was the guy that was with your grave, I would most likely keep repairing if you asked me; if you didn't, I would probably still repair it. I don't have much to lose, except a few prayer points which aren't much in F2P. F2P for life :D

BloodArgon
When I am pickpocketing master farmers everybody who is doing it saves each others graves. Which is stupid because half the time I just glory back and continue anyway, so no matter how many times I die, people bless my grave, in which I demolish and never touch. Wish they would do that elsewhere. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th

Will H
lot's of parents these days suck and don't know how to parent. I'll be one to teach my kid to treat every person they meet with respect (unless the person does something to not have your respect) What has this got to do with parents? It's a game, and if it isn't against/required by the game rules, anybody can do it with no consequences. Sure, you'd probably annoy the person who died if you're still there when he/she comes back, but it's not against the rules. Repairing someone's gravestone has nothing to do with respect, people throw around that word too easily. ~ W ~
elit9
That sucks. :wall: It's not like that guy gained anything from not helping you out, but I guess some people are just jerks. I know it's not like he had to bless it, but usually people are at least nice enough to be good samaritans when there is no direct cost to them (other than what, 3 seconds of his precious 'scaping time?).
