September 17, 200817 yr Author I did it solo. It wasn't that hard. I used a black scimmy, because I prefer speed. I brought super attack and super str pots, as well as prayer pots. If you can master intermittent prayer (on and off at the right time), you can last a long time. I only used 2 prayer pots in that 1 hour and 50 minutes of killing solo. Stand by the wall so you can activate protection from melee prayer right after it appears without getting hit by it. Warning, you should use prayer because it hits easily - you are wearing black armor after all. I have 99 defense and it still hit me regularly before I used prayer.

Also, I just skimmed through the list but a new source of shields, eh...has anyone created one of the higher leveled shields or recorded a sigil drop, by the way? There is a vid on the screen shot thread on page 18 where a 10 person team got one that was 50 mill and got a 5 mill each. I have yet to see a picture from an elixer drop.. Our clan recorded over 500 kills now: no elixer yet (though 2 shields). So if it drops elixers it's as common as a dragon spear from a skelleton! September 17, 200817 yr Author Yes, it is very hard to find empty world! Getting worse each day. By the way, has anyone tried ring of wealth versus no ring of wealth? I used wealth for about an hour and 15 minutes and didn't notice a difference overall in drops. But it seems like more time would be needed to really see a difference - maybe using wealth for 3-4 hours?

September 17, 200817 yr Since the new Spirit beast is cannon-able, is this one as well? I don't think the corporeal beast is cannonable, the cannon just owns the dark core quickly. I guess we should try a cannon at the tortured soul though, never hurts.

September 17, 200817 yr Author I doubt you can use a cannon here, due to the "all black" weapon and armor requirements. But this is simply a guess - I'm not 100% sure.

September 17, 200817 yr Author Black knives work. I have used them as well. Not a great range bonus, though, since you have to wear black armor. I maximized the range bonus by using black chainbody, black med helm, and black sq shield. I also wore ranger boots, barrows gloves, ammy of fury, and archer's ring.
