Could be considered unviable but to power-train eucs that BIT faster, teleing to MA saves around 4 seconds per load (more if you use spell, not ring) And at 5k exp per invent, 2600x4 = 10,400 seconds saved on the way to 99? Maye i did some maths wrong but thats 3 hours :D

Sure, if you can get a ring of duelling in 32 seconds.

I mean if you can earn the equivalent money to buy the ring in 32 seconds. That would be about 12m gp/hr. So no, probably not worth it.

if you talk money, in exp terms every bit helps.

At that point you may as well go to teaks instead, no?

oh, teaks are faster? I'll check them out then.

You should include some info on the evil trees. With the boost (lasts up to 30 minutes), you can get 120k woodcutting XP per hour from cutting oaks (or 240k xp with clay axe)

of course you can only cut 2 evil trees per day, and you don't always get a high reward percentage, but it's still a fun thing to do twice a day

Hey I've been wcing for a while now and I think it helps when your at eucs to check on evil trees and do them if maple or above, you can get a decent amount of xp, Then the reward auto banking at willows really helps in xp! Also Evil Tree Twice a day delays the insanity for a while

You will remember this signature at a very wierd time.

PS. you lost the game.

This is a really great guide, i didnt even know there were eucalyptus trees. :wall:

But i agree with muggiwhiplar, you should add some information about the evil trees.

Updated the eucalyptus section, with some other tweaks.

I'll write a section on evil trees eventually. Just like J.K. Rowling is still working on that Harry Potter encyclopedia. It'll get done...no rush.

Finally got my lumberjack clothing with 8 boots and one of the rest. Legs was the last piece for me. It was surprisingly very fun and took ~3 hours only cause I did events like vyrewatch so I don't think I coulda gotten 300k exp in that time lol but guess it's just luck.

Nice guide, I appreciate the honesty of xp rates, I don't understand people that lie about them to seem good, i'll most likely be woodcutting soon, Adze will hopefully boost that 60k to around 65k :)

A question about Evil Trees:

Whats the best type of tree to cut with the "auto-banking" reward?

Currently I'm doing willows just cause they're fast, is this good?

Yes, willows are best. I tried oaks as well, and they weren't particularly impressive.

This lumberjack gear is a killer to get.. i have been trying for going on 3 hours now, stupid things keep dropping boots the last piece i need is the pants, funny thing is i got the boots hat and top in the first hour, now all i get is boots and no pants :( ah well persistence is key i guess :P

*EDIT* Wow, still no luck, still getting boots too haha stupid thing ah well im getting alot of talon beast charms and snakeskins so i cant complain really :)

Might try carry all the pieces i have and see if that changes the drop or not -.-

i give up for now, its just luck whether you get it all i guess, having the other pieces in your inventory does nothing sadly.

Three hours is pretty good when you consider you save 300k experience. Might as well keep going; like you said, talon beasts and snakes rock.

Very nice guide. Has good detail. Makes me want to wc some more. Might try eucs one day.

 10/10

I'm cutting eucs for money. I was cutting yews but then I found this and holy SHEET. Eucs are waay faster and are only 100ish gp less... so it's muuuch better. :D

Thank you muchly!

Balance may be power, but chaos is still pretty damn fun.

Canada can't be second rate, polar bears are their main mode of transportation.

i read ur whole guide and im cuttin eucs

its really great and stuff so thx ::'

one thing tough, i find it interesting to talk to the spirit tree when i start chopping. an evil tree now and then sure is a nice diversion, and its easy to ask the tree caus u pass it all the time ::' and with a ring of dueling u can always teleport instantly back.

just something u could add to hints or something

Finally, someone not just spamming me to go chop willows because they want to be alone at maples, or telling me to be waiting to level 70 to chop yews.

I'll defenetly stop by eucalyptus as soon as I get the investment funds for a dragon pickaxe... but may stop by with rune because quests are first priority and still need a few more levels, and don't even have good combat gear yet.
