I can see that happening, but I think since I listen to such a massive variety of music (from classical to acoustic to metal), I doubt that would happen to me. I don't sit down and listen to them EVERY time I'm at the computer or have my iPod in, but they're a band I could listen to no matter how I'm feeling and that's what I love about them. And because I'm a drummer, the percussive capabilities that Danny Carey holds blow me away every time I listen. When I first heard Tool I thought they were one of the most boring bands ever. But as I kept listening they grew onto me and I started liking them more and more until it became like a necessity to listen to them. I think the main reason I like them is because they have their own unique style about them.
