September 30, 200817 yr Defender of Varrock, the last quest to be released, continued the storyline of Arrav. A storyline which has been around for as long as I've been playing and im guessing Rs 2. It also continued the lores and histories Tale of Arrav and brought us a step closer to heading north with Majharrat. The Quest before last that which came out, Summers end, also brought about the end of a quest chain (even if it was an extremely short one). The 150th/Biggest longest quest is also on the horizion at this time which will also hopefully tie up some loose ends. All of this got me thinking, What if Jagex are now finally looking to close some quest chains? I seems to me that now that the new graphics have been released and some other major incidences take care of (rwt) jagex may now be looking to finish some of what they started. Could MEP 3 be around the corner or maybe the conclusion to the gnomes quests. What do you think? Have we just been lucky recently or are jagex begining to close a chapter in some of the quests chains? Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.
September 30, 200817 yr why do people want mep3 :wall: morning ends quests are the most pointless and least rewarding quests in the game and can take years! -.- Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
September 30, 200817 yr It's possible, it certainly seems we are heading that way. However, quests are frequently released, and with the closing of some chapters, I'm sure there will be an equal amount of openings to others ;)
September 30, 200817 yr why do people want mep3 :wall: morning ends quests are the most pointless and least rewarding quests in the game and can take years! -.- But the most fun to solve (if you don't use a guide that is).. I really like solving puzzles: so mep3 is greatly welcome (as long as it's focus is on puzzles like mep2). First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.

September 30, 200817 yr I should point out that the latest quest may answer some questions, but has left the story open for more. I don't think you will every see the gnome quests closed as Jagex will wan't to keep the option of writin more open. You might see more answered questions. but I doubt you'll see closed stroy arcs to often.

September 30, 200817 yr why do people want mep3 :wall: morning ends quests are the most pointless and least rewarding quests in the game and can take years! -.- Storyline interests me. Got really involved with it so would love a closing chapter. CANE Just to be different. Think about it. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight.

Makes the quest cape more worth something :P [insert birds flying in a circle here]Yes, that sig was annoying.
September 30, 200817 yr I never liked when Jagex closed storylines, I remember my reaction to the last dorgeshuun quest where I lost Zanik T___T 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
September 30, 200817 yr why do people want mep3 :wall: morning ends quests are the most pointless and least rewarding quests in the game and can take years! -.- Why don't you just come up and punch me in the face for enjoying the actual storyline of a quest, you'd be much more direct.
September 30, 200817 yr Author why do people want mep3 :wall: morning ends quests are the most pointless and least rewarding quests in the game and can take years! -.- Why don't you just come up and punch me in the face for enjoying the actual storyline of a quest, you'd be much more direct. There my feelings tbh, i really get into the story of the quests and the longer the quest chain the better than story often becomes, but some of the quests we get seem to lead us nowhere. The last vampire quest, legacy of seergaze, left us with more questions than we had when we started it!, but it was a really enjoyable quest. Sometimes its nice to have a some closure on a story though imo, the longer quest chains are great but i just wish i knew how some of them ended. September 30, 200817 yr MMORPGs are, by nature, about open architecture surrounding content. Jagex or other companies would be CRAZY to close any storylines without plans for plenty of new ones, because it stops them from future potential content that already has a foundation laid for it.

Then they need to fricking close existing storylines and make NEW LINES! Instead of letting 20 god damn lines go on for 10 years. Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
October 1, 200817 yr That quest that jagex talked a little while back claiming it would be bigger than RFD itself I think will be a quest where it ties up many storylines, allowing them to get onto more major quests \ Atleast I hope so :ohnoes:
October 1, 200817 yr It will be utter pwnage if the 150th quest involves Elves, Vampyres, goblins and Mahjarrat. IRC Nick: Hiroki | 99 Agility | Max Quest Points | 138 CombatBandos drops: 20 Hilt | 22 Chestplate | 21 Tassets | 14 Boots
