benbenben_b
A quick edit could be that on the wait to the Zanaris slayer master, they did not remove that mine. I was crushed when I thought so but I found out that they moved it closer to the draynor bank, by where the ghostspeak amulet priest is. (Just south of his house) I'm pretty sure they removed it when they added the tutors, then readded it later. I only recently saw the mine again when I was going through the swamp, would have thought i would have seen it before then

Aol FTP closed and I lost the majority of my pictures. So I am retaking them currently. Many of them are finished and posted in the guide on TSG. Will port it over here when Finished, about 75 % done. The Slayers Guild a Slayer Clan led by Axe Man Jack Proud to have written the most plagiarized Slayer guide on the planet. 50Athlete50Lazy
Absolutely awsome guide, I would love 99 slayer myself but I'm not sure I could stick at it for 3/4 of a year even though the rewards are great :wall: . There was one thing I noticed, you said that prayer was ESSENTIAL for abberent spectres. I suppose this may be the case in the smoke dungeon owing to the fact it's multi-way but it certainly isn't in the slayer tower. I take around 30 pineapple pizzas, carrying 18 in my tortoise, I wear black dragonhide and have only 71 magic, yet they don't hit too hard. You coud also use a bunyip instead of a war tortoise and supplement the healing effect with food but persoanlly i prefer the extra loot per trip the tortoise offers. On average I can kill 100+ before banking using this method.
Kivandien
I loved your old guide, and appreciate you making an attempt to update it. The chaos tunnel information is a little light, perhaps we on this thread can fill in some detail over time. Note: Warped tortoises drop rune pick, rune warhammer, and rune axe. between those and the swamp tar, noted coal, and worm crunchies, these are an amazingly profitable, mellow, and high xp rate task. Warped terrorbirds drop rune bolts, rune warhammer, and rune kite. This last drop makes it a pretty profitable run, but i agree they are not a great task, especially compared with warped tortoises. If you must slay warped terrorbirds, the first room that makes prayer not entirely necessary is the one with one tortoise in between two birds. After killing one, switch prayer off and take on the other one on one, he dies pretty fast. When he dies, the next will spawn, etc. Has anyone compared necraels and ice trolls in the chaos tunnels to elsewhere? The dagannoths in the tunnels are pretty annoying, as they all range, and the hides they drop are largely unwanted and are only good for junk trades, but last I checked, I believe the ice trolls were non-aggressive!? Kivandien
I concur that aberrant spectres do not require prayer. In the smoke dungeon this is especially true as they are non-aggressive there (of course you would need prayer if you choose to cannon them there). My typical gear for killing aberrants: Karil's top and skirt, infinity boots (dragon boots would be fine but I prefer the defence), mind shield or rune defender (arcane spirit shield would own), whip, god cape from the mage arena, fury, slayer helm, barrows gloves. I use ring of wealth, though a seer's ring would give more defence, and a warrior or berserker would work nicely. Note that I do NOT use the salve(e), as its bonus versus the slayer helm in my mind does not justify losing 15 defence points. Using this gear, with a slayer ring to get back to the monsters quickly, even without a bunyip, I run out of space for loot before I run out of food. -Devoted12-
This is, by far, the best guide out there. I use it daily when Slaying. Thanks you for putting the time and effort into this wonderful guide! :)
vooovv
amazing guide. Just awesome  2 things first is that harpie bug swarms with 75 defence are a joke and if I drink the wine they drop I can easily get through 150 with 10 trout. Also with the lvl 23 cave crawlers I find that if I bring a couple of normal antipoisons that is fine as they very rarely hit ( I killed over 100 without getting damaged ) and you just drink when you get hit. This saves money compared with super antipoisons. vooovv aspiring slayer Thanks to Kadad06 my cousin who got me hooked on this awesome game. Marco
First up, I personally think that this is the best, and most useful guide I've seen. I've used it so many times I can't begin to count, and yet I keep coming back to read up on certain parts when I receive a task I'm not familiar with. So, kudos to just fitting so much important information into a guide. Although the presentation in certain parts could be improved to help the flow, this guide is a prime example of content over minor aesthetics :P On another note; thank you very much for all the work you put into re-doing the pictures, a truly mamoth task. I remember some of the pictures on the guide a couple of years ago were shocking! Some looked like the RSC days of old  Anyway, congratulations on the guide and thank you for maintaining it, mate.

Orangutan
has anyone pointed out that warped tortoises AREN"T immune to poison? I'm sorry if someone has pointed this out already. i'm killing them now, and poison does definately affect them.
Kivandien
I confirm that warped tortoises and terrorbirds can be poisoned. Note that this works even with no chime. The zombies on Harmony isle are certainly not among the best in terms of drops. It is amusing to kill the underwater ones with a brine sabre, though even underwater it is much worse than a whip, and the loss of the slayer helm makes this a poor choice. Dried zombies and the armored zombies under the wildy chaos altar in lvl 10 or so wilderness are excellent choices compare to these.
smurphster01
hey nice guide, ive been usin the same tactics except a one minor thing which is: i have my house in the desert and i find thats an alot faster way to get to the slayer dungeon and also i find metal dragons can be fun and rewarding aslong as you can do the task in one run, i always take 10 ppots n 3 sup str n atk 4 anti dragon n that usually lasts me around 85 irons n 50 steels a tip is to use protect from melee, and on/off piety (abit nooby but i have hit 52's wiv a whip doin that ;]) and a question... is there any way of gettin better tasks because im always stuck with fire giants and greaters for a lvl 121 its easy xp but i want something new n i occasionally get the odd dragon but im not always in the mood... i havnt even had a nechraelye task n im 83 slayer, do certain masters give a more variety of higher lvls cos im usin duradel n he gives me easy tasks. im blocking kalphite, black demons and hellhounds atm and considering either greaters or iron drags. any hints? Tijger2099
Very nice guide! The best I've seen out thus far! I've gotten 99 slayer just a month ago and it was the first 99 which gave me so much satisfaction, 99 slayer is many people's long term goal, mines as well. Looking up to people with 99 slayer was always such a pain and unbelievable, but now that I've gotten it it feels so much better :) PS: For the cannonable tasks, you might like to add the abberant spectres. You did specify that you could cannon them after the Smokey Well quest but you didn't incorporate them in the list on the bottom of your guide.
