Well I went to a PvP world (I owned btw) and I saw alot of "You attack first" arguments.My solution to this happening to me is to just stand in a nice comfy place and wait.Someone will eventually attack me and when they do I simply have to look at the situation and figure out if it's worth finishing the fight. :thumbsup:

I think this waiting part is just wasting time. There is no point in going pvp if you are scare to lose your items. You might as well attack, since you also have the chance to hit high on some1 unexpecting(no prayer and eating) and win the fight a lot faster. But everyone can have their style, not trying to convince you guys.

Using stat boosting prayers (piety etc) isn't nooby. But if you are both fighting normally and your opponents starts protecting for no reason that IS nooby.

the general idea is too keep random junk so you total over 25k (75k) when skulled so you get teh nice items

Eh, even though i have a maxed melee main i still enjoyed playing on a pure before, it was no way because I was too stupid to train more than one skill. It used a be an ok way to make money as well. I reallly dislike the way you generalise people. I do remember you asking for advice on how to make a "tank" account as well, which means in a sense, it's sad really, because you only train X skills.

 

 

 

Also if they pray i'd just leave, 1 vs 1 both praying is slow and boring, money and time wasting 8-)

I usually find that attacking first gives me a huge advantage, so I just attack first. What annoys me more is the people who wait until I kill someone, then finish me off in ym weakened state as I head for the bank. So agrravating, escpecially when they kill me in like 3 seconds(before I get saved by the safe spot)

"It's ok to pray when..." That suggests that there's a time when NOT to pray.

 

It should be: "It is advantageous to pray when..."

 

For example, last night, I get called a noob because I used prayer when I'm at 10% at the MOST and the guy had just hit a 23-37 on me...yeah, like I'll just hand over my stuff to the abysmal Java code which will delete my items from the servers just to be "honorable".

 

Anyone who doesn't use prayer is a noob because they are being stupid by not using all of their assets. Of course, there is no reason to pray when fighting against a lvl 3 or when you already have full health with defense boosting prayers. That's just being practical.

 

Practicality doesn't equal fairness or equality. :shame:

As for the whole prayer argument, if you have it, use it. That's why it's there. I spent lots of money getting prayer up, so I am going to use it.

Yea I have actually have experienced this is in old wild and in PvP, the noobs that walk around with rune pl8 legs and a d scim and ask you to fight and then also expect you to attack first. I see them everywhere and its honestly (making me angry) me off. I think jagex should apply the BH skulls to PvP worlds so we get rid of all the 1 and 3 item noobs.

When pures first started to appear, everyone was excited. People thought that they had found a way to beat the system, and murder everyone at their level. They thought that something had slipped through the cracks, and that Jagex had overlooked something. THEY WERE WRONG. Jagex DESIGNED THE ALGORITHM FOR LEVELING. They KNEW that these "pures" would have to sacrifice a skill or two in order to keep a low level. ONE OF THOSE WAS PRAYER.

 

 

 

As a pure, you have this mindset that you should control the wilderness. I don't know HOW this happened, but it is extremely frustrating. If you want to act high and mighty, and act like someone should hand over all of their items just because YOU decided to gimp yourself to attempt to kill people your OWN LEVEL, then I really don't feel like you deserve ANY BREAKS AT ALL. I find it astronomically ironic in that someone who made a character who's entire purpose is to catch people their own level off guard, people that have lower stats than the pures' own, and then kill them in an attempt to feel superior, is calling OTHER people cowards for using the SKILLS THAT JAGEX MADE AVAILABLE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
