Don't be a jerk. 3 hit u said clearly in his front post that he was talking about max hit against players. Castle wars, Void, etc, all work on players. If you have all kinds of fancy criteria, you should probably specify them before stating that value as the max hit "against players".

You could already hit atleast 77 with ags spec in duel arena before the update so 3 hit u is wrong(no surprise here tbh). No need to count cw brace- it's impossible to use it on a pvp world.

I did actually mean raw-strength bonuses, however I'm only going off what I can hit (not much compared to others, because of Defence req) my guess is new max is like 81.

 

 

 

I have heard that the corrupt versions lack special attacks. Also, RS Wiki says that you can use the items on non-PvP worlds. Anyone who has one care to test it out?

well max in pc is 92 but for the sake of questions wouldnt maxing on those barbarians in the whirlpool with a salve ammy be better than cw? heres my point:

-no helm

 

-no cape

 

-no gloves

 

 

 

 

 

in whirlpool:

 

-no ammy

 

 

 

 

 

the ammy of atr is made up just by barrows gloves and then taking on 7 more str from the gloves and nez with fire cape means maxing in cw isnt really the max since the undead things in the barbarian whirlpool.

I've had a vestas long in the g.e at min price for 3 days now. People don't buy the weapons saly so i can't see these items being used a huge amount.

Even If I had that much money, 30m would take a long time to earn back (for some) And the ability to hit 1 damage more wouldn't make a huge difference.

Lol @ people talking about void. Max str bonus definately hits 1-3 higher than void melee. AGS max was 78, now is 79-80.

 

Pretty sure salve doesnt bring the spec max up either, but not sure on that as I don't use salve ammies.

Yes, it does, for the 2 seconds at the start of the game before I swap my barrows gloves and drop it. Point being?

The weapons will be used far more often for pvp than the armor, and only for the specs. On top of that, it's cost efficient to buy the corrupted versions.

 

 

 

I think for right now, the expensive ancient armors are going to be neat outfits for people with a couple million to spend.

salve gives you a +20% attack AND strength bonus. strength bonus makes you hit higher. =D>

 

not sure why the hell you wouldn't use a salve ammy, they help so much with slayer.

How about they become a bit weaker after they degrade, let's say...

 

-1 strength and -5 to all defense(or attack if weapon) bonuses 1st time

 

-5 to all defense(or attack if weapon) bonuses 2nd time

 

stays stable after that, for a repair cost of... oh... 500k top, 400k leggings, 200k helmet, 700k weapon?
