This was not a planned incident and for this reason it was not possible to warn anyone that it would happen.

 

 

 

Within minutes our technical team were working desperately hard to resolve the issue and normal service has now resumed.

 

 

 

We know that this incident will have been frustrating for many of you and we can only apologise for the interruption to your game play.

 

 

 

We do not anticipate any further problems in relation to this issue, however we have a team who are closely monitoring the situation and doing everything they can to ensure that you continue to receive a consistent and reliable level of game access.

Hmm there is chance that Jagex will "take us all back in time" about 5 mins before. Because everyone will whine about the crash and what they were doing before it...

I guess he assumed you have been playing longer than 8 months? This has happened many times before and they were down for 2 hours in the spring and we got like 100 of these stupid threads. I hope some mods are looking and just lock this thread and delete any other ones that pop up.

This has happened before. The explanation last time(and the symptoms look exactly the same here) is that one of the companies jagex uses to host their player interaction servers (clan chats, private messages and grand exchange) has had techinical problems. This is also responsible for the forums not working, while the rest of the site works.

 

 

 

If I remember correctly It took about an hour to fix last time, so just be patient.

Btw if you were kicked out of another world you won't be able to log into 147, because your account counts as still being logged in. You can however log in other accounts.
