ok so heres my wacked theory:

Theres a frozen door in gwd

door.jpg

Not to mention -- you can see a little bit of the Ancient caverns from Saradomin God Wars... or what looks like it, if you stand on the south side of it...

Theres definitely a lot of speculation on this... any of this could be true... none of it could be true.. all of it could be true.

Imo, lucien finds stone, power goes all corrupt or w/e, and RuneScape goes boom. Then Jagex starts promoting this new MMORPG called "Real Life" :o

Nah, I really don't know.

Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x.

PvP drops: 359 Brawling Gloves, 11 Vesta's Longswords, 41+ Zaros/Ancient Statues

9 Dragon Full Helms, 3 Dragonfire Shields on the old PvP loot system

Brawler guide is being finished!

When I first saw this letter i thought nothing of it except a new quest/line of quests.

After i read this board it made me think of an idea i suggested almost 2 years ago, a huge quest called the beginning of the end. In this quest you chose one of two sides, the good side or evil side. You then had to travel through runescape finding your side's gods amd help them out (each god would be in a sucluded space that was special to them and no clues were given). You would need to help out 5 gods on your team and complete their challenging tasks. The final part was a huge battle. You had to fight against the other side's gods and beat them (gods are super powerful). Ii just thought I'd throw that out there but I'm not sure and I dont think the new room in the ancient cavern has anything to do with this new message, Jagex does this alot just for speculations. Again, just my thought but it would be cool if jagex used my idea. ::'

A couple Ancient Pages:

1.I have researched these accursed creatures of mithril more, the results are disturbing. Analysis leads me to believe that they were created by a higher power, what sort of creature could be so powerful?

11. ...is the stone here?...was the stone here?...will the stone be here?...would that my sanity were firm enough that I knew what my questions meant. Then I might seek an answer.

16.The Baxtorian Falls are well worth investigating, in my opinion, since water leaves the lake above this area yet none appears to flow into it. What could be the source of this quantity of water?

17.My investigations show that water temperature in the Baxtorian Falls area are substantially higher than might be expected given the local climate. The source of this heat will now be the focus of my studies.

19. Barakur has proved his worth, as we were forced to slay several dragons on our way to inner regions. The caves are clearly of artificial manufacture, though the excavations must have been thousands of years ago, to judge by the...

20.Our theory of artificial origins has been vindicated! We have discovered a sturdy door, which seems to be a similar age to the original excavations. I am sure that there is a magical or mechanical activity behind it, though it may be simply be a great rush of water.

21.The door resists all of our efforts to penetrate it, even the Fishing explosives which Derril suggested were tried with no success. There must be some way through which is linked to magic though perhaps all who know the secret are now long dead.

23. ...barred the magi loyal to the great lord Zamorak from entering the tower, keeping the new-found power of the runes to themselves. But one brave soul gathered his followers and forced his way into the library...

24....created spheres of power to support those who should come to that dread place thereafter. But the well senses the light of these spheres, and will not...

25....and I have lost my way in the accursed dungeon. The air is foul and bugs are everywhere...a noise from down the tunnel. There was a bell on the floor. Grasping the bell I rang it with all my might...it attacked me.

26.perhaps dragonkin were involved? A wild theory, I know, but look at the evidence

Got me confused with #26 there, did you add that or is that really a page?

lets also not forget this:

The circled letters on each piece of paper can be unscrambled to spell "LUCIEN".

Which was a clue in the November 27, 2009 postbag from the hedge.

I also believe it metioned something like:

Lucien draws his forces to the north or something like that.

No matter what the clues were, Runescape has been hinting this to us for a while.

At this point I would just reconsider all those seemingly "useless" books, NPCs, etc. in Runescape.

I'm flipping through my bookshelf in my PoH now, so far nothing too exciting has turned up, but who knows? I know now that Seren is made out of Crystal at least \'

Well, if the posts before are true and Movario is searching for the Stone of Jas, then that means that Lucien is basically trying to become one of the Elder Gods (gods stronger than Guthix, look them up on runewiki :ohnoes: ). My theory is that the fist of Guthix is the Stone, but just a hunch based on the designs of the fist and the cutscene from Making History.

Mistress Seren is more than just made up of crystal. Not only is she the "divine" aspect of the Animal Mundi, but she ties directly with the Stone: the source of both magic AND the Animal Mundi.

Quite frankly, I hope that one of the Elder Gods takes the stone from Geilinor forever; it's causing tension to build up dramatically. The quests are setting up the world like in a game of "squares"; the players keep drawing lines until it's impossible to NOT give a box to the other. The world will probably go into another gods war at this rate, but not before Kaqueemex and his druids are killed to prevent the Edicts of Guthix from following through

Yes and no. The stone once was at the location of the "Fist of Guthix" (which was one a Saradomin camp) but is long gone hidden somewhere else. Most sources we have, Including the Oracle, Juna, and other NPC's point that the stone is currently hidden deep in the lumbridge caves, possibly at the Tears of Guthix.

As for the Fist of Guthix, how the story goes, Guthix used the stone at the fist to be the end all, of the 3rd age god wars. "Slamming his Fist" down (either physically or metaphorically) he used his powers, and possibly the stone, to stop the groups from fighting. My guess is Guthix slammed the stone into the ground (hence fist of Guthix), he threatened to destroy the stone if the groups continued fighting. They stopped and he then hid the stone away from the world, while the fighting no longer took place.

Now that Guthix has been gone awhile, these evil characters are trying to regain their footholds they once had pre-3rd age wars.

Also Judging by a few references like the one from Hazelmere, it appears there will be a war type of event about to occur in the north, but We will be accompanied by someone (of great slayer importance) to help stop the wars in the north before they begin.

A quest like this covers so many sides and is so big, I have a feeling its going to involve almost every faction and group during the quest. We have the Gnomes wanting to destory the humans, with the elves help (possibly with a Maj.'s Help), Draken looking to get over the Salve, Zem looking to crush Varrock again, Lucien plotting getting his hands on the stone before every else, and some of the other Maj's out in the world, we dont even know where.

I feel like this quest may leave more questions than it will answer.

If Lucien was a Mahjarrat and our predictions are true. Jagex may be hiding something. Jagex has never given us something like this before. This only means one thing. I may be wrpng but:

Someone take a ring of visibility there!!!!!

I somehow get the feeling that no metal bar will work on those anvils until the update is actually out..

Anyways, what was with that hooded skeletal guy and the staff of armadyl in the real world trading development diary? Isn't Armadyl meant to be holding that? And why is an evil guy weilding it? If anyone can answer this i'd be greatful \'

I did not recieve one of these guardian events. However I also have the armadyl pendant so I assume I will not get one? -.-

If you sided with armadyl and killed lucien in the temple of ikow quest, you should get one.

If you sided with lucien and took the staff of armadyl to him in the temple of ikow, you wont get one.

The armadyl pendant is dropped by the armadyl guardians down in their hideout so even if you sided with lucien, its possible to get a pendant. :P

The pendant doesnt mean anything in this case.

The only thing that means anything is if you sided with lucien or armadyl.

If you sided with lucien, you wont get the message.

There was a letter about the hole near ToG in the last Postbag:

Dear Juna,

Seeing as you get tediously bored, I wrote these questions for you to answer :]

1.If I was to jump down the chasm in front of you, would I meet Guthix? Because in your story, you said He was resting down in the planet.

2. What's the Animus Mundi?

3.What is 'Fiara' and why is there a 'Fist of Guthix'

4.What do you eat?

Final question, what did you do before you were a Guardian for Guthix?

From

De Roll Le

- Avid examiner of stuff.

Letter dictated to Postie Pete, as Juna is unable to write herself. This is probably something to do with her not having any limbs. P.P.

Dear De Roll Le,

Your letter amused me; it is good to see such a curious mind. It is true that I enjoy listening to the stories of adventurers, as they bring me news of the outside world. The variety pleases me the most: the juxtaposition between bold tales of exploration and confrontation, and my peaceful musings on the need for balance in our world. It gives me a perfect feeling of equilibrium, and I am happy to answer your questions.

Guthix has no physical form in this world, and the only thing that you would find if you jumped into the chasm would be certain death. I recommend keeping away from the chasms edge - particularly since more people have been coming to the chasm recently.

The Anima Mundi is a powerful force, binding all natural beings together. Only those with special gifts can use this force to communicate with each other across great distances. You may be familiar with the spirit trees and their ability to transport beings between themselves; this is made possible by the Anima Mundi.

Like me, Fiara is a faithful servant of Guthix. She can no longer remember her original form, but that does not matter to her now. Travellers tell me that she can be cruel, but this is only because of her passion for preserving balance in the name of Guthix. Her role is to protect the Fist of Guthix from the followers of other, lesser gods, and she does this very well. You seek more knowledge of the Fist of Guthix, but I am unable to explain this sacred source of power. I know much about its true nature, but I am afraid of the information falling into the hands of those who are unable to comprehend it.

Ah, you humans and your love of food. Before I became a servant of Guthix, I believe I did eat in order to survive. Such memories are hazy now. My role as a guardian has preserved me for many, many years, and my immortality has freed me from the restraints of mortal life. I no longer need to eat, nor sleep, and my abstinence from food allows my spirit to remain clean and pure.

As I have already mentioned, I recall nothing about my life before Guthix chose me to serve him eternally. I have not always been a guardian of the sacred tears, and I have had many roles in the past. I am honoured to be able to serve Guthix faithfully and my soul rejoices at the thought of continuing this service for many ages to come.

May Guthix guide your steps,

Juna

So the only thing she says is that Guthix isn't down that chasm, but she says nothing else. She only recommends we stay away from it, which you could interpret as that there is something interesting down there... or just certain death by pointy rocks :ohnoes: .

Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).

well actually the stone Of Jas was in the site of the fist of guthix, but that's not why that site has such properties.

When Guthix was awakened and stopped the godwars he was mad and sad, he wanted the object they fought for would be detroyed, so he went straight into the camp where it was hidden, then punched it willing to destroy it.

Part of Guthix'es and stone's power was left behind, but teh stone - unharmed. (altho the blast kinda detroyed the camp and everything else around).

Then he hid it in a cave below lumbridge, summoned a snake (or created her w/e) and told her a lie.

When Guthix came and found this plane he foun dthe stone and used it, to create the magic (runestones/altars etc) .

But who was Jas? I'd say its a 92 percent that he was oen of the elder gods, who simply left one of his magical artefacts behind when he left the plane.

The clock is ticking, and your time is running out, mortals.
