Since the Hallaween event was released, purple cats were released. As I was searching for people to get a stupid wrapped candy, I stumbled upon another pet; looks like a German Shepard. I searched the db, and the only animals you can buy at the pet shop were sheep dogs, dalmatians, grey hounds, labs, terriors, and bull dogs. It wan an NPC. I've never noticed it before, so are these clues to a future summoning/pet update? :-k

If that's the farm by fally its been there for a long time.

I'm guessing it got a graphical update when summoning (or more specifically, pet dogs) was released.

The Alsatian has been there for quite a long time (2006 I think) Although I hope they do bring it into Summoning :

 

Another future familiar jagex have comfirmend is a Phoenix (in a poll, i wanted a kangaroo)

I think jagex should seriously do a catch up month and give us the updates that were due long ago :thumbup:

I think Jagex should "push" Summoning more now seeing as it basically doesn't effect PvP anymore, therefore there is no reason why people shouldn't train it.

Yup that doggy's been there for ages. Would be good if they added to summoning, and they should, but I doubt it's imminant.

Before Jagex gives us anything more in Summoning, they need to give us our Phoenix familiar. I'm tired of waiting for it -.-

i remember a thread exactly like this from months ago, *sigh* i had hoped this thread would be about something interesting

if u read the development diaries u know it takes time to form an idea and then to program it. they did promised us a phoenix and that would be cool so it will likely come with the 150th quest.

That dog has been there for quite some time. At least as long as I have been playing (Which is for quite long now :P).

 

I can't wait to become able to have more pets. I'm longing for that Phoenix now :)
