Back in June, me and one of my best friends decided, "Hey, lets set up a blog on the internet! That will be fun" So, I agreed, and we set it up together, equal powers, and equally enjoying it. But the past two weeks my friend had been acting a bit more distantly, and recoiled, all in all, less social. We hadn't spoken outside of school for about two weeks, and he refused to be contacted any other way. And today, for no reason, without any warning, he decides to delete the blog. (It was going fine, we were both making posts etc) He doesn't even have the balls to contact me beforehand, or even now to discuss anything. Now I can acknowledge the fact him being a bit more distanced, could be because of homelife problems possibly, or maybe not. Either way, I'm boiling with rage right now, and have to express it somehow. I feel completely betrayed, and had to vent it somewhere. Sorry if this post bored you. And if he did, he wouldn't go into reclusion over it unless he's very emotionally unstable. You ought to confront him, but not in an angry way. More like an inquiry. Hopefully, it's something 'bad' (well, hopefully nothing that bad ofcourse), perhaps you can understand it if you see it in context, but still, it's bad to draw other people in it. I would be carefull with going to the bottom of this though, many people don't like that. If there's been a bit of tension between you guys for a while, just simply move on and forget about it. It sounds like this was really random, give it some time, and try to find a way to talk to him. Don't approch him like a man on a mission (even if that is what you are). You have to be calm and cool. Don't act like nothing happened, that would just creep him out. Don't be angry, you won't be able to pry information out of him if he becomes passionate and/or defffensive. BE direct and to the point but keep a level head. A simple "Hey man, whats up with deleting blog?" would probably get you started. Please note I rarely talk like that. I am actualy pretty pro (psuedo) proper english. What I gave is a local relaxed dialect left over from the 80's, and very useful in confrontations when you are tryign to keep a situation from escalating (in my experiance). My final advice is don't swear. Make it a semi-casual question, but don't be wishy-washy or hes going to tell you to [bleep] off. If he tells you to piss off anyways, feel free to escalate the situation double time, start raising your voice. If you are bigger than he is and hes being a [puncture], feel free to become physicaly intimidating (this makes it harder for him to think on his feet and thus defend against your querrys). Now, if he's more depressed than angry at you for asking, you have two options. You can pursue the issue yourself if you guys have that kind of relationship (and no you don't always need to be gay for that to happen :roll: ). Otherwise you need to pry into whats going on via other friends (girls are often much more perceptive in this matter, consult them if possible). So to reiterate my point. So two things, Yeah, Rustbowl, but I enjoyed writing so I plan to continue on my own, I just need to think up of a witty title. I did consult my friend, but he was being a total [cabbage], so [bleep] him. I said "How come you deleted the blog?" His response is, "I don't like being whined at about everything I do" Which I believe is his rebuttal after he deleted two of my posts, again for no reason, the only even reason-like thing I can see is because he decided to take all the decisions we agreed to do mutually, and piss around with the entire blog in it's entirety, after removing my powers, again for no reason.
