December 31, 200817 yr I'm pumped the Falcons made it. Although I think the Titans will wind up winning the whole thing. Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651
January 1, 200917 yr Put money on the Chargers. They have no business being in the playoffs, and usually it's a team like that who ends up winning it all. If the best team were to win the Super Bowl, I'd have to say the Panthers V Titans or Panthers V Colts would interest me quite a bit. Anybody but the Giants/Steelers/Vikings and I'm all good.
January 2, 200917 yr I want the Pats to win. Do you even watch football? Uga, you really think the Titans can defeat Pittsburgh or Indianapolis? The Titans were crushed by Indy, and Blitzburgh is always nasty when it comes to facing a team they were defeated by earlier in the season... Then again, these are the playoffs we're talking about, nothing is what it seems like.
January 2, 200917 yr Uga, you really think the Titans can defeat Pittsburgh or Indianapolis? The Titans were crushed by Indy, and Blitzburgh is always nasty when it comes to facing a team they were defeated by earlier in the season.. Yeah, but the only thing the Steelers have right now is a great defence which keeps them in games by a thread for the offence to steal the game in the final quarter. The reason the Steelers lost the game a few weeks back against the Titans is because the Titans can get through the Pittsburgh defence, and because Ben was getting sacked and fumbling the ball way too many times. He needs to improve, and the concussion scare is hardly gonna help him. I support the Steelers more than any other NFL team, but I don't rate them in this year's playoffs. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
January 3, 200917 yr I think it'll be Pittsburgh over New York in the super bowl. I'm a Vikings fan, but they're just too inconsistent to make a run this year.
January 3, 200917 yr It will be Eagles over Colts in the SuperBowl. Eagles have so much momentum right now, the Vikings don't stand a chance. The Giants are afraid of the Eagles because the Eagles beat them in Week 14. Spoken like a true Philidelphian. Welcome, brother . Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. January 5, 200917 yr I'm an Eagles fan as well, but realisticly I'm going to have to say that it will be the Giants and Titans in the Superbowl with the Giants winning. But still, GO EAGLES!!!
January 5, 200917 yr Like I said...don't sleep on my Chargers. I betcha Philly gets ROCKED this week. The Giants won't lose a second time at home to the same team. Although I really hope the Eagles win :P
January 6, 200917 yr The game against the Chargers and Steelers will be close. Last time it was 11-10 Steelers. I predict a 13-10 win for the Steelers this time, possibly in overtime. ]

Although I really hope the Eagles win :P Colts fans are annoying, wouldn't you agree? They can't take a loss. Anyway, I hope history is a factor between SD and Pittsburgh, because in the playoffs for all of the history between these two teams, SD is 2-0 against the Steelers in the playoffs (they were both in Pittsburgh, by the way).
January 6, 200917 yr i'm rooting for Eagles, though realistically i think titans will win; though the eagles have been winning they've had a fare share of lucky plays that helped them win. but who knows? /crosses fingers for eagles
January 6, 200917 yr The Titans lost to the New York Bretts. They don't classify as good in my book when you lose to Faaaaavre (!!).
January 6, 200917 yr I really hope the Panthers win it, but they're too inconsistent. They definitely have the talent to win the Super Bowl, but they have a bad habit of calling stupid plays when they get a decent lead on an opponent. John Fox is too conservative and he likes to stick with easy, no risk runs.
January 9, 200917 yr Cincinnati, Ohio (AP) - The Cincinnati Bengals have offered troubled former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones a 1-year, $2.5 million contract according to a source close to the team. Jones was released Tuesday by the Dallas Cowboys after ESPN reported he was involved in a 2007 shooting outside of a strip club in Atlanta. Jones, who caught zero interceptions in limited playing time with Dallas in 2008, was on suspension from the league at the time and denies his involvement with the shooting. "I didn't tell no one to shoot anyone at the scrip club," said Jones. "I was not being rebellion. I'm gonna sue ESPN and then I'm gonna make it rain more than I ever have." Head coach Marvin Lewis is excited about Jones, who averaged 4.5 yard per punt return in 2008, possibly coming to the team. "He's a real solid player," said Lewis. "We need that kind of guy back there returning punts. Ever since we got rid of Keiwan (Ratliff) things haven't been the same. We need someone who can jump side to side and not move the ball up the field. I think Jones has that ability." A happy Lewis then proceeded to chuckle for eight, possibly nine minutes. Cincinnati wide receiver Chris Henry is also looking forward to Jones' possible arrival in Cincinnati. "That's my dog," said Henry. "We are gonna be real tight."
January 9, 200917 yr ... Is that a real article? catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
January 9, 200917 yr John Fox is too conservative and he likes to stick with easy, no risk runs. John Fox has ran some wild cat and trick plays like the flea flicker. 8-) Three Panthers linemen came back to practice 100% and will play this Saturday, I'm real excited. Our D line was getting killed during that Giants game.
January 9, 200917 yr Like I said...don't sleep on my Chargers. I betcha Philly gets ROCKED this week. The Giants won't lose a second time at home to the same team. Although I really hope the Eagles win :P The reason(s) Philly will win the game: 1) Eagles have an overall better passing offense than the Giants. 2) Giants are missing Plaxico Burress. 3) Brandon Jacobs isn't 100% 4) Eagles are riding on momentum. Reasons why Giants will win game: 1) Giants have overall better defense. 2) Giants have a 100% healthy Brandon Jacobs who is fully rested and healed (3 weeks rest). Oh and those not too shabby other running backs. 3) Giants have Hixon and Boss, Carney and Feagles, and the now experienced Eli Manning. 4) Eagles are chokers haha (just had to add that one) 5) Giants have home-field advantage (and its the playoffs) Break

You wanna have me remind you who proved that last year? How are the Eagles chokers? They have to be the second hottest team in the league right now (first is the Chargers). Eagles have the third best defense in the league. They made a mockery out of the Cowboys. They took their playoff hopes away. You wanna know how? By playing with a solid offense and defense. Hixon can't block like Burress. He's a great receiver, but he can't run block, can't get away from defenders fast enough. I've seen him play, and I've also seen him miss the big plays. If you wanna prove how somehow the Giants will win, be my guest. But we won't know the NFC and AFC Championship teams until Sunday ends.
January 9, 200917 yr Giants will win when Philly starts to pass too much. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
January 9, 200917 yr Giants will win when Philly starts to pass too much. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
January 9, 200917 yr Giants will win when Philly starts to pass too much. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. When they pass 80% of the time they will be stopped. If they mix in the run it will be better. Im philly all the way though I just hate them passing every play. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
January 9, 200917 yr I mean drop back and pass to a receiver or a tight end. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
