Allah means God in Arabic, it isn't a separate deity. :P Just wanted to point that out, let's leave religious discussions at that. ;) I always thought they would be just blank gold coins. Otherwise they would have to have an imprint for the kingdom in which they were made (Kandarin, Asgarnia, etc...) and we'd have too many different kinds of currency. The standard coinage is to have either the royal coat of arms or a profile of the ruler of the land on one side of the coin, and a symbolic design on the other. Because all GP is gold, it's obviously of the gold origin which really isn't possible in real life. If you base your whole economy on one unit it can fluctuate wildly depending on how much of it you possess. Well, yes it's just one unit, it's just counted by how many coins you have. but of course, that's not the question. I believe it would be a gold coin with the name of the area you earn it in on it, or it would be just plain because it would'nt really matter anyway.
