Hey!

I'm going to get a tattoo soon, and I've found out what motive I want. Had a friend of mine draw this. It's not complete yet, and that is not the final drawing either, but what do you guys think? Feel free to suggest improvements!:)

The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".

Amen, brother

Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)

amen Bruder! (german ftw)

I'm invulnerable to everything, except Lenin and Dragoonson.

That's impossible.

That's pretty cool. I was thinking of making a similar thread.

I'd recommend using hena first so you can see if you'll like it. If you do, then let's do it.

However, the color of the lion's eyes, I dont know :/

FYI = For your information

By the way, in regards to the picture, you might want to read Tip.It's copyright policy. Just saying.

If I got it right, means tip.it can use it, not others? English is not my native language, found that a bit hard to understand.

I live now, for all I know I'm hit by a truck tomorrow. So I'll stick with the plans I have now and regret my balls off if I ever become 50:p

I'll always be born as a lion, that'll never change^^

whenever people get a tattoo, I always think of an old Matt Groening comic, of two ex-punks, in a retirement home covered in tattoos, and one says to the other "I see you were also an idiot back in the nineties."

But hey, if you wanna get a tattoo, go ahead. Stupid imo, but you're tattoo. And you can always get it lasered off for an extortionistic price.

I think it looks pretty good, but I would get rid of one of the fingers on the lions left hand. Also, are the red shreds supposed to be torn flesh? If they are, I'd try to make them look more like this. Other than that I think it looks good.

Where are you getting it btw?

That sure looked creepy

I think it's going on my back.

To Quoi and mega: Yea, tattoos might not look good in 50 or 60 years, but (if they're done right) they'll look pretty kick [wagon] for a long time. Everyone always uses that argument against tattoos, that they'll end up regretting it when they're old and their skin has migrated south, but who cares? They're old and most likely will die soon, why do their bodies have to look decent? So an open casket at the funeral is possible? [bleep] no. Personally, I think that if people lived for the moment rather than the future, their lives would be much more enjoyable. Old bodies should be disgusting, worn out, and have a smile on their face that says "What a ride."

A lot of older people I've met with tattoos (2 or 3, so not a lot) don't regret them at all. However, they were very unique people, rebels 'til death. I've also met people in their mid 20's who avoid conversation regarding their tattoo. All I'm saying is make sure to take a look ahead while you live life by the moment.

personally i wouldnt get the tattoo because its permanent (duh!) but i mean if u regret it 20 years later then it sucks. why risk anything and just not get a tattoo in the first place. also ppl have different impressions on tattoos which r usually bad. i cant really picture someone with a tattoo that is a .... of idk lets say a business man. u know the tie, the tux etc. and then when u turn older like 70s im talking, u will look like some weird dude with a lion tattoo which will make ppl go wtf?!??

I can't confirm it either since my tattoo is black/grey but I don't think color would hurt more. It would be just like shading (higher needle count than for linework) but with a different colored ink and I personally thought the shading was the easiest part of my tattoo as far as pain goes (though I felt very little overall).

For one - as I've already said - I live now. I'm not gonna think of everything that might or might not happen in the future. For all I know, I'll be in a fatal accident tomorrow. You get the points. Besides, I'm not used to seing either 70-year olds or business men without clothing. Lol

Yay! I'm always delighted to hear how your parents feel about current issues :D

But seriously, I have a friend who was running for top higher end gov't office in my state and he has 3 tattoos. There are lawyers, business men, high end officials, etc with tattoos. Also, business men wear suits, not tuxedos.

Your aging argument is invalid due to the sheer amount of times it's been used. I doubt people care that much about the appearance of their tattoo when their skin is sagging, their hair is nearly all gone, and their face is like leather from years well spent.

I will agree there is a negative stereotype that goes along with tattoos but that is quickly fading and the people who will continue to tell you about said stereotype are the people who grew up when it was in full effect. These days people with visible tattoos still have a chance at getting jobs (though professional levels jobs most likely will require that tattoos be covered while at work). Everywhere I go these days I see people with tattoos in visible areas. You can't tell me such a large population is looked down apon if they continue to grow in such amazing numbers.
