Grandmaster Quest Rewards

Lots of scattered exp rewards in varying amounts, much like Recipe For Disaster.

 

 

 

As for material rewards, I can't even begin to guess. I'm fair certain though that Smithing will get an update of some sort, or at the very least a hefty EXP reward.

 

 

 

As for "High Leveled" always being tied to 70's in Jagex's book...When you think Godsword, do you think "Oh look, noob weapon."?! Honestly? o_O If you take a moment to look apart from just the level requirement, to how the object is obtained, it's a little more significant.

With all this talk of magic, the stone of jas etc surrounding this quest I should hope It takes teps towards runless magic in the reward.

 

 

 

After all we know magic comes from the stone of jas and runes simply mean less talented people can master magic.

 

 

 

So it'd be nice to see this quest (depending on how hard it is) either open a new spell book tht u can do runelessly or perhaps allow us to master say air magic and do that without runes, but equally allow us either thru later quests or difficult challenges proceed to learn how to work without other runes.

 

 

 

Or just a new spell book or rc altar wuld be nice. perhaps both? a nice spellbook tht makes soul runes worthwhile and the soul altar

I'd be really happy, if a belt-slot would appear.

 

As long as rewards are good (like rfd gloves, neitiznot helm etc.) I'd get them. If some1 thinks that rewards should be tottaly accessible to all levels, it's wrong.

people classify 70 as high because you can do lots of things in that skill at that level. Doesn't matter about the exp. oh and depends on the skill too. 70 smithing? OMGmakemeaddymedhelmpls. 70 attack? lol? 70 herblore? OMG! 70 farming? OMFGtellmesecretspls!

 

 

 

Besides, its hard to get to that level from the lower levels and when you're not used to grinding (think when you first got 70 attack, and having to do it with a rune scimitar)

i would hope its something like a slot for a bracelet in ur equipments screen, if not xp is always welcome. maybe an area to kill more abby demons

as in you wear a bracelet in the bracelet slot but still have the glove slot empty in the same way neckalces and capes arent same slot or hands and rings arent same

Dragon Platebody will be among the rewards, either as a buyable item from a shop (I hope) or a drop from the Adamant Dragon. I am about 60% sure it will be released in some fashion or other.

 

 

 

I'd give it more like 99.9% on it's release, not so sure if from the Grandmaster quest or not though. JaGex has given plenty of hints towards it's arrival (see almost every picture of recent releases -- there seems to always be someone wearing what could be a d-plate)

 

 

 

I agree with you 100% on the "from a shop (I hope)"....please not another equipment release that favors the lucky and/or the rich (spirit sheilds, godswords, dfh, dfs, etc.). We need more items like RFD gloves, Helm of neitz, firecape that reward an accomplishment like a quest.

Then that would be unbalanced, there needs to be some kind of payment for magic. Maybe it takes the value in coins of the runes, so it only takes up one slot, or magic attack tabs or something. D:

 

for melee you pay once for the items + food - 0 gp per hit

 

for ranged - once the items + food and the arrows ... and you can train with bone bolts - 2 gp per hit

 

magic - the items + food + runes and the cheaper way to train with some decent damage is with chaos spells which are at least 100+ per hit ... that doesnt cover the cheap price of the robes (that are way more expesive then the ranged gear)

I'd say it all depends on the quest requirements.

 

 

 

we are making guesses, so take a guess at the quest requirements in ur head and spit out what u think will be the rewards. since its a grandmaster quest i assume it will have higher requirments then most of the other quests. maybe 70+ skills required and being able to kill a lv300 or something, probably be a dragon plate like a few people speculated

I honestly hope that it's an amazing Summoning addon, I mean, why make Summoning affect combat if you're going to say "it doesn't matter in PvP", surely there has to be some real reason behind Summoning other than just "oh it helps you with other skills".

 

 

 

I'd be amazed if they had something like Level 70 or 80 Summoning requirement to part of the quest, now that would be a good thing, or something like Prayer, the skills we don't really train past a certain level.

 

 

 

Maybe a new PRAYER book? How immense would that be, has anyone thought of that?

there's thinking outside the box! and here's stuffing that idea full so we can make a new box and someone will have to think outside of two boxes

 

 

 

-a brand new type of weapon, like the chins were with hunting

 

-a new type of ranged weapon, or the ability to use current melee weapons as one time thrown weapons

 

-an uber mode, that protects from all attacks for a small amount of time according to your defence level

 

-new crafting uses that tie it in with smithing to make exotic variations of weapons

 

-a new ore to mine, or new ways to mine ore

 

-an update to firemaking

 

-a new type of woodcutting to make staffs

 

-the abilty to fletch special ranged weapons that a gaurenteed not to break, or return after a small amount of time

 

-a new runecrafting method that is more experience but with less result

 

-seriously, an update to firemaking

 

-new farming implementations, tieing into magic to make cooking properties with enchanting effects

 

-herblore potions that create special attacks

 

-summoning AI improvements through an enchanted helm

 

-a construction patch to build a better house, complete with new concept rooms

 

-i'm not kidding, do something with firemaking, it's useless

 

 

 

that's all i can think of for now

why a new prayer book?

 

just add on to other spells

 

some idea for prayer effects

 

weapon speed x 1.5 ( would be high leveled and drain a bit faster than piety)

 

a prayer blast/attacky thing ( say would do a unblockable random 10-50 damage at the cost of the same amount of prayer points, and would also take 2 godsword speed attack ups)

 

and maybe more using prayer points up instantly like healing yourself for 10 hp at the cost of 20 prayer points (ie you could spam click it to heal 50 hp at the cost of all your prayer at max lv )

Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod!

looking at other quests such as heroes quest and legends quest i reckon that the first grandmaster quest will reward you by you being able to go into a new area, some exp in a few skills (maybe 10k in each skill) and the 4-5 quest points (and then possibly rewarding you by letting you do/use/make new things)
