What updates got postponed? Mobilizing Armies? Yeah, that's one. Good luck with your math exams.

trick question- how are we supposed to know what didnt get worked on! we could say it's totally normal the phoenix update has taken nearly a year to make. maybe they're working on a skill or 2 skills and that progress is interupted. all the tweaks we get a month later or two months later means they missed something; some are small problems, others they make wholescale changes; most should have been addressed before release. example: costume room and box sets always seem to get updated later.

bank space- are we getting more bank space?

random event changes

death animations for npcs still a problem

culinaromancer's chest

new tutorial

clan wars

they still havent fixed many bugs and problems with exisiting content; and those have taken on low priority status.

i've given them a break on graphics bugs because they're mostly neglible and understandable i guess.

tweaks for practically everything (some were needed) summon, ge, bh, vinesweeper, item lending, (means going back to fix problems, cater to whiners in some cases, and while doing that not working on other update content/problems with content.)

overall i'd say jagex is doing a good job updating the game; they could do better. do i think some things are holding them back. yes. things seem to get past them often and a lot of these things are obvious so who is to blame for that? i'm going to say quality assurance. so go ahead and give them a pass and make excuses or point the finger at me, but i'm just giving a total assessment of their performance.

and as i've said, they've done a lot of things right, jagex has. i dont look at jagex as one entity; i'm aware they have teams and different people are assigned different responsibilities etc. so when i say qa is doing a sub-standard job that's exactly what i mean.

this kind of discussion is really better fit for a separate topic and the other point you brought up about them making the game easier isnt about less grinding; i didnt do pc or alching or teleporting to raise magic, but if you ask me that's more of a grind then regular/other forms of training. you misinterpret my comments. making things easier does not equal less grind. it means a lot of different things and when i say easier, i mean look at summoning major tweaks made for those people to level that cannot be bothered to pick up their drops or find a good way to make money: there are many ways to make money in the game. they could have mined their own granite for granite lobster but no, jagex had to tweak it and they still dont mine it. it isnt a grind to use your skills (mining) to help your summoning. i happen to do a variety of things in runescape; to make things interesting and less of a grind; and those options are there for the non-lazy. but clearly you dont see things the way i see things.

Boring.

Well, at least it appears that they will try to fix this new minigame of the bugs before dumping it on us like "Failing Creation".

Well, on second thought who am I kidding they probably won't lol!

Its almost guaranteed that it will have the usual assortment of bugs like it won't start, you get kicked in the middle of it, messed up graphics, and broken rewards.

You seem to know very well... Oh wait:

we could say it's totally normal the phoenix update has taken nearly a year to make.

No, you don't. They said they'd be releasing a phoenix familiar in 2008-2009, not that they'd be releasing a phoenix when you want it. FYI you can't introduce anything without a background.

maybe they're working on a skill or 2 skills and that progress is interupted. all the tweaks we get a month later or two months later means they missed something; some are small problems, others they make wholescale changes; most should have been addressed before release. example: costume room and box sets always seem to get updated later.

bank space- are we getting more bank space? You need more bank space?

random event changes Again, they've given no precise dates.

death animations for npcs still a problem How are they problematic?

culinaromancer's chest Apart for taking items from the GE, the chest is fine.

new tutorial M'kay.

clan wars It's been updated

Of course tweaks are required. Unless Jagex releases beta version of skills, then they're not going to be able to test all possibilities. And even then,if they release a beta to a few players, they probably still won't see all the possibilities.

overall i'd say jagex is doing a good job updating the game; they could do better. do i think some things are holding them back. yes. things seem to get past them often and a lot of these things are obvious so who is to blame for that? i'm going to say quality assurance. so go ahead and give them a pass and make excuses or point the finger at me, but i'm just giving a total assessment of their performance. Again, QA does good. Not great, not excellent. But it's physically impossible for them to think of EVERYTHING. Try go try to climb a building without touching it or using any equipment. You can't? Well then. Does that mean you're doing a bad job?

and as i've said, they've done a lot of things right, jagex has. i dont look at jagex as one entity; i'm aware they have teams and different people are assigned different responsibilities etc. so when i say qa is doing a sub-standard job that's exactly what i mean.

Fact is if you want to efficiently train, you often have to take the boring way. And people don't want to take the less efficient route, because they want to get to that one level that'll let them do this or that.

you misinterpret my comments. making things easier does not equal less grind.

Last time I checked, mining is almost the definition of grinding. And it's not more efficient to mine your granite, so in the end they didn't add anything that made it easier. :|

i happen to do a variety of things in runescape; to make things interesting and less of a grind; and those options are there for the non-lazy. but clearly you dont see things the way i see things.

I don't. I think some things are boring, and some aren't.

Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can

Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude?

Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you?

Camera guy: still laughing

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]!

Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL!

The players have an incredible knack for finding the most incredible and unimaginable glitches in a great majority of games, even if there has been extensive testing, there are no games that are glitch free.

Yes, but what about glitches that become apparent the FIRST time you play through a minigame? Like the game never starting? Or the timer freezing? Or when it starts, it starts with one minute? And how about after, when many of tools are glitched and some, though not technically glitched, do not perform as promised?
If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system.

Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.

The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."

The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

Oh my gosh, Failing Creation! What an imagination! FYI most people think Stealing Creation is a really good minigame.

Yeah same here! I use my explorer ring the most (it's my fav of the 3). Karamja gloves are handy i use em once in a while - and varrock armour looks cool and makes smithing a *little* more exciting :D
