December 2, 200817 yr Being an Atheist I wont be religiously celebrating holidays, I'll still attend Christmas so I wont appear rude to my relatives. Christmas to me no longer means the birth of "Our Lord" but instead it's a family gathering where we all sit down, have a 3-4 meal and for once every 6 months or so, were all there together. I prefer that to anything else on Christmas, if I had a choice between presents or a family gathering the 2nd option would win hands down, Christmas isn't supposed to be about Materialism.

December 3, 200817 yr Christmas and my birthday. I'm in the same boat as Kranked when it comes to Christmas though. I'm not the religious type so I don't care about celebrating anything that has to do with Jesus but the opportunity to get closer to loved ones and the sake of having a tradition I've always enjoyed is why I celebrate it.
