The defense lowering I would say is better than a bit more damage. Haven't found a use for ZGS yet so I can't say anything good about it. Lan735 Posted December 25, 2008 Share Posted December 25, 2008 Well I did a interview with all my clan members that have Godswords and heres what i found.Most perfer the Zammy godsword and Armyl godsword over sara and bandos.They say the Zammy godsword and Armyl godswords have good specials.Zammy godsword can freeze.Good for those peeps who HATE maging or just not intrested in it.Armyl can do that cool punishing twirl.Looks awesome and does hecks a lots of damage.Enough to Pk someone in 2 seconds. Sara GS good for slayer. so: For PvP: Bgs > Ags > Zgs (> SS) > Sgs For Training and slayer: Sgs > Bgs > Ags > Zgs For Big Bosses (except KBD'): Bgs > Ags > Sgs > Zgs Overall: Bgs: 11 points :thumbup: Ags: 8 points :thumbup: Sgs: 7 points :thumbup: Zgs: 4 points :thumbdown: FAIL for big bosses zgs is the worst? zgs is the most useful when tanking, as it lets you move away from the boss, most notably at sara whilst also being the most accurate spec of all the godswords. the bgs spec is inaccurate whilst the special effect is good when it hits, however the sgs is better than the bgs imo for big bosses as (especially when tanking), it's reasonable accurate spec is very useful, providing extra hp and prayer points that could be vital. for training all godswords blow as they are too slow, however for slayer sgs is the best, with the ags being a close second (debatable between the bgs and ags though), with the zgs spec being pointless in slayer. in pvp, the ags is by far the most popular ko weapon of choice (for those who have not got dragon claws that is). however the other godswords each have merits in pvp; sgs = extra hp and prayer bgs = lower opponents def (if it hits) zgs = freezing (if you either havent got runes on you, or if you havent got the high enough mage level) just my opinion though. also if the lvl 110 with full bandos and ags actually had reasonable stats, then you most likely would have lost, i myself at max melee have used torags + zgs against a level 133 with an ags and bandos armour, and got beaten quite quickly. ZGS and SGS were my favorite, BGS was fun, but usefulness wasn't great. If I had a choice, I dunno which of the two I prefer. They are totally different. I'd say i enjoyed SGS more, but if I was to buy one back, it would be ZGS So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb. By freezing, although it helps in PvP, is simply a waste of special. ANY of the other specials is better, since you need a k0. Plus, even if they run into a bank, you can still attack. I think godswords are to expensive to risk in PVP, so the best PVM godsword is saradomin, because of healing. I Found the special to be far too unreliable for Slayer (Which is what most people seem to think it's 'best' for...) And too slow to train with. Basically, I'd say SGS is nice to have, but I could (And do :P) Definately live without any Godswords at all.
