Me and this girl at school are pretty close friends and we joke around a lot about stupid gifts we would give each other. I'm afraid she'll actually take it seriously and get me a serious Christmas gift though, and I don't want to look like an [wagon] if I don't have anything for her. My girlfriend suggested I get her a purse...but I don't know how the hell to buy purses...I'll probably get her something she hates. So what are some fairy simple (and cheap :pray: ) gift ideas?

Jewelry, a gift card to her favorite store, or to a good restaurant, etc.

I always take kindly to flowers. At least five men in my life get them for me each year, so I don't feel much attachment sentimentally to them. Though, I suppose she might not take that the same way.

giftcard sounds good, but i would get her something small to go with it aswell (some flowers or something)

 

EDIT: when i say flowers you don't have to spend a cent on them. go for a walk or to the local park or something and look in peoples gardens, an when you see something with lots of colors and no ones looking, grab a few and run off.

The last thing you want is to give her a gift that she takes a little too romantically. But purses are always nice. Gift cards are ok, but they are too cliched and give the message "I don't know what to give you so take this". Although in this situation she will probably be cool with it and might not get something any better. :-k

As a last resort, then yeah, get one but try and think of something else first.

I'm a girl and I love gift cards :P It's one thing if you're trying to impress/court a girl.. but I think gift cards are great. I'd much rather get a gift card so I can buy whatever I want then get a gift that I may not like at all.
