The Bank: RuneScape's Hook

Featured Replies

I saved my Rune Defender, Monkey Greegree, a Zamorak page, and some assorted quest paraphernalia in my bank. I usually have 65-66 spaces available, just enough to store pk loot.

I use the extra 4 ge spots to sell items that wont buy easy.

I also lended my whip, wich is now in the returned item box, so that i still have that one when i'm p2p again.

I also keep the hard-to-get-but-still-usefull member items, like monkey greegrees and m'speak ammy.

I also find it handy that you can get the god books back for free.

I use around 105 bankspaces atm, and I'm a member. I still have a lot of random stuff too, so I think I would have around 75 bankspaces if I cleaned it. That's almost f2p, while I am p2p.

I'm using about 350 odd bank spaces atm (and I think my bank is organised  ), and tbh though it is a hook they get in you, if I moved to F2P I wouldn't find it horribly difficult although it would still be hard. I wouldn't have a problem with some things but I wouldn't want to go back to 68 spaces although I will do no doubt at some point :( . (I'm quite a sporadic player, give me a few months and I'll not go on Runescape -.- )

I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].

I always have my bank prepared for f2p just in case I end up not being able to renew my membership. I don't just assume that I'll be able to, so I prepare for the worst(or best if I eventually quit because of f2p ::' )

Pirate Rosetta stone. Learn a language while you scape.

Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate?

I'm f2p atm and I just made a new tab with all the f2p items I need and all my members items are in other tabs.

No big deal.

yes i still kept my red dhide (3 inv spaces) ::'

I absoltely hate going F2P - P2P as it requires me to stop playing, or sell all of my stuff. Grr

i couldn't go back f2p

already use between 480-494/496 bank spaces, and my bank is clean and organised :wall:

more space?

You only live twice. Once when you are born and once when you look death in the face.

Do not fear Death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light. But, if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity...

Toward the end of summer I decided to give up my member career because school was starting. So I went through my bank and alched/sold everything of any remote value, and dropped the worthless junk. I ended up with a 48m cash pile. One of the items I couldn't alch or drop was a brand new crystal bow I had sitting in my bank for ages. It wasn't alchable or tradeable, so I was forced to drop it.

Today, I took into account my loads of free time after homework, sports, and friends. I decided to become a member again after over 3 months of playing f2p. I plan to rebuy all the important things I sold (armor, weapons, potions, etc) and luckily msot of the stuff is cheaper now than the time I sold it, so I may actually profit off quitting. Wish I kept my unused crystal bow though :(

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.

Yeah this has happened to me before. The first time I just dropped all my member items. Then I became member again and I just bought more membership the second time. I remember there was a guide here on the forums. The trick is, is to buy all the things your going to need in f2p while your a member, and that way whenever you need to bank something, you already have it in the bank so you don't have to use a bank space if that makes any sense. Credit goes to the guide that I can't remember, but it's very detailed and easily understandible.

I'm a free player right now and I have about 350 items in my bank. I decided not to drop my stuff, but instead I decided to get placeholders for the stuff I would use the most. Too bad I was really busy with Pest Control then and totally forgot about buying the placeholders, so right now the only thing useful I can bank in Free Worlds are willow logs.

I could bank Air Runes and that. But I can't bank rune essence, so yeah... I have pretty much nothing to do in Free Worlds. :P :?

[01:24:34] CJ Hunnicutt: it takes skill to be that [bleep]ing stupid

Yes, I have been faced with the "drop the stuff or quit playing". I ended up dropping over 14M one of the times. It was just plain horrible. :wall:
