Right, there's a pretty sick compilation record being released this friday. It's for a charity raising funds for aids...

On this album the following artists will play some, never heard before, songs: Bon Iver, Beirut, Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird, Antony Hegary, Kronos Quartet, Sufjan Stevens, the National, Yeasayer, Iron & Wine, Blonde Redhead, Cat Power, The Decemberists, Feist and Ben Gibbard.

Holy [cabbage]. This is a wet dream.

It's called Dark Was the Night, and it's for charity.

I've had the Feist and Ben Gibbard song Train Song for about a month or so, its so good. A lot of big names on this Cd that I actually might go pick it for real.

Carter 3 is good but not album of the year quality. Some of the songs are just blah, nothing special. Also the Grammy's don't even represent the whole music industry outing a bunch of great indie bands. TV On The Radio, Fleet foxes to just name a couple that put out amazing Cds last year.

Rammstein

Hypocrisy (if they manage to release it this year)

Iron Maiden, apperently plans for a new album this year so i will certainly check that out (always been a big Maiden fan since 9-10 years old, but haven't been up to date with what they have been doing for a couple of years).

Kotiteollisuus will release their new album tomorrow, which i'll definetly check out.

Otherwise i don't know.

Bought Doro's newly released album, which is [bleep]ing great.

Je suis juste un cas désespérant

Et comme personne ne viendra me réclamer

Je terminerai comme un objet retrouvé

Muse are in the midst of writing a brand new album, there live stuff is phenomenal, unmatched by any band in music at the moment so i have incredible expectations from them. the albums are getting more and more electronic and more and more epic.

Cursive's new album came out recently. It is only available on their website at the moment and is currently $2 and going up by $1 a day until it comes out on March 10. I highly recommend it, it is quite a great album.

Also, Sholi released their debut album a few weeks ago. It is a quite excellent Indie Rock release with just amazing drumming. I would highly recommend that as well.

Many people here will be interested in Gorod's new album coming out in June.

Swallow the Sun has an album coming out in fall.

As Cities Burn has an album coming out in late April, from the sound of the new song on their myspace it will be amazing.

Mastodon's Crack the Skye has mostly leaked , but I haven't listened to it yet.

I'm still forgetting a lot, but oh well.

I listened to the number twelve looks like you's album on absolutepunk yesterday.

It's a pretty good album. A bit different from their older albums. But still a really good album. I'm gonna buy it on the tenth when it comes out.

I can't wait to hear Gorod's new album Process Of A New Decline.

I must have listened to the new song on their myspace page 10 times now. It's just so ridiculously good. I just can't wrap my head around how they go from flashy riffing to the most epic, awesome bridge I think I've ever heard in a death metal song. How the [bleep] does this genius band do it?

I know I sound like such a fanboy right now but I don't care.
