But I am afraid it will probably come with a quest that requires quests that I have never done. For the same reason I never seen a Dark Beast yet, although being very close to 94 slayer now. I was talking about this with a runescaper the other day and suggested the new high level slayer monster could possibly drop some abyssal armour. It would be light and possibly have some amazing slash bonus. Or whatever really. i would be happy with any decent slayer monster, regarding its level. Compare it to black mask drop.) so that mediocre slayers can also make some profit. I would love a slayer-guild type place where you have different monster requiring a team and slayer lvl to take down. I.E. Master Abberant Specter (lvl 380), attacks mainly with magic but has both range and melee attacks to complete the triangle. Requires 55 slayer and nose peg or slayer helmet to kill. Drops full black mystic (boxed like G.E.), multiples herb seeds (toadflax through torstol), MYSTIC lava staff, D med instead of rune full helm, gems and half keys and drop herbs noted (ranarrs and up). Upon dying, spawns 10 normal aberrant specters (useful for training slayer). Well this is just an idea, but more slayer monster could be turned into "boss" at a "slayer-guild". The only reason people want one now is that Abyssal demon have stopped being so rewarding, before the drop rates were very good now it's a bit worse. I always heard of players earning lots on slayer tasks, i personally haven't gotten 1 single whip so far. And if Jagex releases a high level slayer monster, who would earn advantage of it? It's like saying Jagex shouldn't add more prayers because only high level prayer players would benefit and not everyone raise their prayer level that high... I mean, the skill isn't exactly losing popularity, but it hasn't really had a monster update since dark beasts and high level slayers have no incentive to go beyond 90 other than the glory of 99.
