MrM0n
Imagine this... you've just finished dressing you new account and you are ready to fly through tutorial island. But this time you have an option to choose 5 skills, and these are the only skills you'd be able to train. What would it be? (The idea is to get the max out of rs possible with only 5 skills) For me it would be Fishing, Cooking, Range, Defence, Prayer. EDIT: HP is included with combat stats. Your turn #-o :D

Tijger2099
SLAYER (which automatically incorporates hp, so I am still on 1 skill right? ^^), Herblore (to make my own potions for slayer, Magic (makes it a lot easier to move around the map), Summoning (that way I don't need fishing+cooking to make my own food, I assume you don't allow trading with other people) and last but not least runecrafting (I hate it, but I need something to make my own runes for magic right?). Seraphi
Indeed, I pick slayer, which counts as a combat skill and hp, so I'll go with attack there, then defense, strength, summoning and magic.
MrM0n
Hmm good points guys. Let's assume HP is included in melee stats. Also good thoughts on the magic, i forget how many things i take for granted.

Seraphi
I think some people are forgetting that unless you pick all three melee stats your gonna end up failing miserably..
Tijger2099
I think some people are forgetting that unless you pick all three melee stats your gonna end up failing miserably.. Maybe in this hypothetical situation therefore we should refer to attack/strength/defence as one stat, else if someone likes combat he has already 3/5 spots reserved for those 3 skills, with hardly anything left to chose from. Dracomancer
Thieving, Farming, Summoning, Magic, Herblore. Current account: Dragonguy 87 Goals: Get members Get all skills 40+ Hehe, this is like Jagex telling half of Runescape players that they're [developmentally delayed]. Sort of. That's how I interpreted it. :P Runescape is why I support abortion.
xSxqPowerx
I think some people are forgetting that unless you pick all three melee stats your gonna end up failing miserably..I didn't have enough room for attack and strength, which is why I chose range. It would be inconvienient in some places, but there's nothing melee can do that range can't do.
mmmcannibalism
assuming melee are seperate slay(provides resources in general) range mage def runecraft(for money to pay for range and mage) Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed. AdamMonkey0
Slayer, Summoning, Hitpoints, Defence, Prayer Summoning requires the last 4, and slayer is for money. I'd sure miss magic though #-o

zoul
*On a Note training these 3 will automaticly train my HP* Attack Strenght, Defense, Mining, Smithing Reasons: The first three are self explanatory, i chose Mining because at lvl 30 alone you can get Coal and iron and with enough Patience you can get steel bars which ATM sell at 600gp+ and require smithing to make the bars and once it goes to 99 and so does my mining i will be able to sell runite sets for 200k a set
