January 21, 200917 yr I've gotten 2 visages and a dfs from pvp in my rs career. My best advise is: don't go there expecting for a drop. A drop only a bonus. Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

If you decide to camp a monster for profit, drops like noted ess, runes, and ranarr weeds/seeds are more important than the mega drops anyway. January 21, 200917 yr The drops are random... so you want Jagex to fix their number generator? Btw - how do you know what you're getting is crappy? You have no idea what the drop rate of items should be, and if you did you wouldn't complain, because you should know the Law of Large Numbers - after really large number of kills (at least 10,000), you can expect to get percentages equal to the actual drop rate. January 22, 200917 yr If drop rates for items are raised, the items will fall in price and you'll end up making about the same profit as you did to begin with. Honestly, there's no point.

It means you have an expectancy to get one visage per 10k kills. Doesn't mean you actually have to kill 10k dragons. It could also be 1 or 5k, or perhaps even 30k. That's what we call "chance". Drop rates are generally an estimation made by players, not formally made by jagex. January 23, 200917 yr I've never gotten a good drop in all the years I've played RuneScape, and I still get by without creating topics like this. You get no pity points from me. Also, stop killing metal dragons; they're terrible. I love to meet people; send me a pm if you see me on RuneScape! :)
