Also what you said about a second shot, I found that pretty funny because if you seem to remember when we were playing some FFA in rust, i was using an Intervention and you were running around with a freaking M21. I still won. Also no I wont 1v1 you with an ACR, I don't use an ACR or any assault rifles, only sniping. So i'm not gonna lie when I say you probably would beat me anyway because I'm not used to such guns. Just because you like the FAL/Barrett, it doesn't mean the other guns suck or are worse.

mind you, there were 3 people in that game. and since you 2 were using interV, I didn't want to come in with an automatic sniper. that's not to say that if I had tried then I wouldve won, but that event is not an accurate gauge of my abilities. also, I don't like the barret. So I got the 1k kills emblem with the FAL. Gonna give it a rest though, It just feels too cheap. I just 2 shot people, without stopping power, using hardline, and then get loads of killstreaks. Or instead of hardline you could use cold blooded, which is probably better, I just like hardline. Because of the 2 shot ability its the most dominant AR in the game, apart from when you get up close, where you just pull out your SPAS anyway.

 

The fact that its semi-auto means nothing. Unless you have crippling arthritis its so easy to just tap RT twice. The G3 was much harder to use, you needed stopping power to pull off 2 shot kills, and even then most of the time it was 3 shots.

 

I don't know who told you the FAl was a "skill" weapon xxxgod, but they were lying. If you really want to try and justify yourself on cod by using an underpowered weapon, use the F2000 or MP5K, because they really are difficult to use. Because if anything the FAL is overpowered, and FAIL would be be a more fitting name for it.

 

Now I know your going to reply to this post as if it was designed to piss you off, and it was, because your posts are pretty annoying. Telling us this and that is noobish, this guns better because some kid spent hours looking at the game code and figured out the Barrett has 0.09 degrees less sway or something, challenging us to 1v1s all the time. I posted all this stuff about the FAIL a couple of months or so ago, and it really is true. The only thing to say to defend the FAIL is that its semi auto. When aiming this is no disadvantage, but occcasionally some kid might get the drop on you and you might have to hipfire, and you might die where you might have survived if you had an AK or something. But 9/10 times your going to be able to just pull out your secondary for close range.

 

The fact that its semi auto only discourages noobs from using it, and thank god they don't.

I agree with Sara. The FAL is good but the ACR is extremely accurate and has close to no recoil. I'd say its about a 3-4 shot kill.

ACR is 3 shot kill close range (range depending on if you're using a silencer/acog/whatever), and 4 shot kill long range. With stopping power of course.

i agree that FAL sucks at CQB, but thats why i dont go near enemies. i just put a claymore down and run the other way to distance myself, then turn around and shoot.

Exacly. The FAL is not ment for CQB. Granted the ACR might have that over the FAL, but the FAL is basiclly a medium-long range sniper. At least thats how I look at it. I perfer the ACR, but if I was to use the FAL more...I bet I would like it.

Well I just got BC2 so I bid you farewell people, im most likely selling MW2 for some side cash.

I'm not sure if anyone here can shed light on my problem; I've looked around on the internet and can't seem to find an answer.

 

My MW2 offline profiles are constantly corrupted: I'm careful to fully quit the game before shutting the system off, and I'm running the latest firmware. I've been unable to get it to connect to my new router, so I wonder if it could be a problem with the PS3 itself?
