It's so easy getting nukes on Afghan, just have to get the Chopper Gunner and basically spawnkill the other team.

 

Thats how most levels that are open are. Harrier then you bacically got a nuke if you play your cards right.

Wasteland looks really familiar. I think it may be a remake of a CoD 1 map or something, but I can't place a name, and I may be thinking of something else entirely.

Had an AMAZING game of Third-person team tac. CTF. It was on rust, and I had marathon pro, lightweight, and idk, using mostly a spas (cos it owns in 3rd person). We went 26-0, and I captured 18 of those. And, I swear this should be a challenge, I captured 4 of them (in a row) WITH. OUT. STOPPING. Ran in one giant circle. DOMINATION please.

 

P.S. IW needs to fix this. Whenever I launch a noob-nade, it makes the "thump" sound, but 2 seconds later the grenade launches. It's so stupid when you hear that then get killed by the guy you were aiming at, only to find out nothing happened. Such BS. They need to make it so you hear the sound, the round goes off.

 

P.S.S. When you prestige, do you keep the challenges you have already completed, completed? Or does EVERYTHING go back to reset? Also, say I had 47/50 Counter-UAV's called in, and I prestige, does that go down to 0 as well?

 

 

Depends, have you prestiged before? If yes, you'll notice some challenges glow green, those don't reset when you prestige, but the rest does.

Ah, Brecourt? T'was in Cod1 as well. Now that I think of it, I think a few CoD1 maps make appearances in Cod2 :unsure:

I found a great new strategy, I use intervention with sleight of hand pro, stopping power, and ninja pro. I can get up close and quick snipe em or get em from across the map. I use dual magnums for sticky situations.

I love my Intervention class, same set-up, but commando pro instead of ninja: no falling damage really helps on certain maps, and the melee distance increase is useful in those sticky situation. Though I prefer magnum tac-knife, I generally dislike akimbo, I mean, it's awesome and pretty nice, but I prefer just using one weapon lol.

back to back nukes ftw, hardline is probably the most awesome perk ever.

Now that Ive beaten the story I can say with out a dobut the game is amazing. Mabey not number one but at least top 5. I want to get on live now and try that out, but were I need to fix my car, I will not get on anytime soon <_<

 

Also my favorite gun is the P-90. I was owning my friend with it in split screen play :thumbup:

Rented at Blockbuster so I can play while my disk gets fixed.

 

I like Barrett .50 Cal :) unlocked the HB sensor, trying to get Thermal atm. PP2000 is epic, have silencer and RDS for it.

 

What are you playing on? If it's Xbox, you could just download the rented copy to your hardrive, then play your own disc normally.

i wanna see someone get a nuke in hardcore. of all the games ive played, none yet. though one person did call in an AC130 and get close, but he didnt have nuke on anyways and he got killed as he stood up lol.

 

Thats cause theres alot of stupid people that shoot their own team in HC. Does it count as a death if u get friendly killed?

yes it counts towards deaths, and I'm pretty pissed about that. in cod4 it didn't. and there aren't as many team killers as you might think. maybe one every 8 games or something. and they usually stay and douche around for a min or two and then leave, whcih gives you another 8 min to make up for maybe 3, 4 deaths max. not too hard, just annoying

There's only 3 endgames, ( with titles etc.). 10/10 nukes is the revolving nuke symbol and if there's endgame IIII then probably just XP.

What about that 'End of Line' title?

I spent this past week watching my younger brother play MW2. The few times he let me play, I had a lot of fun. Makes me wish I could throw money down for an XBOX. This game makes people crazy. My brother would be sitting there with his headset on yelling every obscenity imaginable when he was doing poorly, but when he was doing good he would start saying weird things like, "you all suck, I'm the best, I'm the best, you all suck cause I'm the best," only he would repeat it thirty times. Until he died again.

 

I noticed that the AK47 is totally OP. It was only with that gun that I could get more than five kills, and my brother got his first nuke with it.

 

Best score of the week playing team deathmatch was 9-16. :grin:

Put the riot shield as the primary, though i've only used it once or twice. Saved a team mate with it today. He was standing in the doorway on the inside of a building as i was coming up to it from the outside. A sniper shot him but didn't kill him, i just saw the red dot on the map, switched to shield and stood facing the dot with him lying down behind me and stayed there until he had regenerated his health. Sniper fired like 3 more rounds into my shield before he either gave up or someone flanked him.

 

Decided im gonna unlock the nuke with my next reward point.

Also, what would people recommend as my killstreaks?

At the minute i have Predator Missile -> Harrier -> Chopper Gunner. When i unlock the nuke i was thinking Harrier -> Chopper Gunner -> Nuke.

Was also contemplating the AC-130 but im not sure.

That's what I'm using, and it's the best combo. CG > AC-130, you can get waaay more kills with it, and Harrier's good since you can use CG while the Harrier is still in the air.

In that case, either don't prestige 'till you finish or prestige and accept the losses. You will lose any challenges when you prestige.

God I hate nuke boosters. Keep catching them and lighting them up. When you see a teammate had a nuke and he hadn't been seen all game and a guy on the other team went 7-60 and there both friends its pretty obvious. But free kills for me so whatever.

I played a few games of FFA and in those few games I encountered two different people boosting. Pretty frikking annoying, even though I interrupted them if I found them, they still somehow managed to get CG and rape the [cabbage] out of us (this is Wasteland).

Im 1st prestige and level 49, i got 5 nukes so i dont think im going to prestige untill i finish end game III, although im sure i can pull off 5 more nukes. Also my friend has 43 nukes :ohnoes:

What about that 'End of Line' title?
