JoeDaStudd
Yesterday I found out the whole reason people say only go DK's with a team you trust. I was happily waiting for my runes to come through the GE so I decided to see if there was any teams going boss hunting in my range. I noticed there was a few teams looking for DK mages so I brought the rune axes and topped up my blood runes supplies at the GE.The team I was join was 2 130+'s as hybrids so I was happy in expecting to stay a long time and hopefully get some nice loot.We had a little trouble finding a world and in the end we ended up crashing a solo mage on a LS world. The first few kills where fine, I tried to make light conversation and check how they where going.About 5 more killing in one of them runes over to me forcing prime onto me. I get hit a 48, but just put mage prayer on take a sip of brew.He asked me if I died and that it was just lag on his part.I though ok fair enough it happens to the best of us and atleast I didn't die.So about 30 minutes in it happens again, at this stage I finally tell him to please not do it again as someone will die.Another 10 minutes down and I get a d axe, ask them how there luck is and the same player repeats the previous to acts only purposefully gets supreme on me.He then repeated spams "Help", "I need food", "Help give me your food". I nicely tell him I only brought 2 brews and used 1 1/2 due to his previous actions. He continued this for about 4 more kills, by which stage I'm killing rex as fast as possible then killing supreme to reduce the risk to me. All the time his teammate/friend is ignoring the whole situation. In the end just lured rex on him like he was luring prime and supreme on me and teled out. What did he have to gain?He didn't have magic gear, didn't have a BoB or decent healing source. He was the biggest most annoying idiot I've ever met. DusteasGirll
There is two things that drive me up the wall, and I always try my best to make the people shut-up.. Your training- doesn't matter where it is, but I'm often at the 'Giant Spiders' in the Secuirty Stronghold (or whatever it's name is), and a discussion about our stats start up. Then one person, who usually is the lowest level or a lower level, says, "Oh my main could own you." "Oh my main is level 115." "Oh my main has full *insert some fancy gear name here*." YOU KNOW WHAT? Nobody cares. Brag all you want, unless you bring your account here, we aren't going to believe nor we will care. Scratch that- even when you bring it we still won't care. The second thing; As a female player, I can't even count on my fingers and toes how many times there has been rude male players. Depending on what they say, I 'Report Abuse' and usually put them on my Ignore List. Or, when a girl sees a (usually)*high level* or *rich-looking* guy, they starting 'flirting' and so forth. Happened to my friend the other night, and while it was hilarious for me (and I think he got a chuckle out of it), it's still really annoying. I can't stand that more than anything, like every guy on runescape calls me a guy irl. They don't even have any reason AT ALL. They don't even know me irl it's just completely immature and there's no reason because they'll just walk up to me and call me a guy and leave. Another thing is them trying to tell me I online date and I DON'T. Because me and my boyfriend both play runescape means we online date? Okay. slickmovedud
I'm chinning, and this happened twice. Someone else comes to the exact same spot I am, and starts throwing chins. Of course I ask them to "please hop". They refuse... like what's the point? The XP isn't nearly as good with two people. I guess they are too stubborn to realize they are literally throwing money away.I hate to say it, but people like you are really annoying (right up there with online daters). I'll come to someones mining spot/training spot, beat them to get the resource/xp and they'll tell me to leave. I'll flat out say no. If they feel like leaving they can, but just b/c you were here first doesn't mean you own the monster/resource. If they get the drops or more of the resource, then i'll leave and go somewhere else. If you wanted the exp from chins so bad, then why didn't you just change worlds rather than lose xp, money, and time since you're going to be so selfish about it. If that person was there first, and if the exp rates aren't anywhere near as good, why would you stay anyway? It takes like thirty seconds to hop, and if they had been there for a while, it's only polite for you to do it. Just a waste of time/money otherwise. In some instances, I agree with you, but when it comes to chinning, I don't. [hide][/hide]
Vyxer
Getting my spot stolen by another player while slaying and then being told either: 1) They were there first (even if they weren't)2) They take priority because they are of a higher cb lvl3) I should hop to another world because they can't be bothered This type of incident really annoys me because whenever I see a spot taken up, or its busy, I always hop to another world until I find an empty one, it only takes about 30 seconds per hop so I don't see why it should be such a big issue with some players who can't show some courtesy and even common sense to try another world. CDC989
I hate it when noobs come up and ask for money, or armour, etc... but then once I turned the tables, happened to have the key to Melzar's Maze, said I was getting some from my bank, went into the maze and watched them stand there. When noobs ask for free money, I ask for a free rune longsword.
Mischlings
Tormented demon killing in the last two days, one person told me "I can crash you or you can hop, your choice" (with MUCH worse grammar, of course), then another person came into my spot, said nothing, stood around for 30 seconds, then ran out, getting one demon on him, lured it over to me, I lured it back, we went back and forth like that for about 2 minutes, with me trying to stubbornly finish the kill. Hopping worlds is simple and the spot I was using isn't often that crowded, so I can only conclude that they were being jackasses for no good reason. armourdilo
Impatient players. It happens every other day. As I mine someone comes along asks "Were is blurite?" Or something along those lines, then three seconds later run they away in the opposite direction! While all this happens I find myself stuck with half of an untyped message, with care for spelling and grammar and less iron than I could have possibly mined. If this keeps up, I may have to stop answering questions entirely. Furthermore, I hate it when I receive private messages from strangers in another language - it is clear they are insulting me, but they're too cowardly to do it in English. Then, when I tell them to speak English, they speak one line of fluent English, say "llol bye" and log off. Not to mention totally incoherent private messages written in English. God I hate when that happens... >.> It's what I do
K4ylan
I HATE people who try to ask you for help politely, but when you try to answer them, they either don't believe you, or think they know better. For example: I was in a F2P world(I'm a former member) when a player who was around level 70ish comes by asking where the Green Dragons were. I politely answered that they are members only and carried on with my business. He then proceeds to ask, "Where are they for nonmembers". Thinking he just misunderstood me, I told him that there are no Green Dragons available to nonmembers. He then continues to follow me, ranting about how he fought a green dragon(I assume Elvarg) and he has an anti-dragon shield, so their MUST be green dragons. After much flaming and name-calling(him, not me), he eventually left to say that he'll find other high-level players to help him. It took him a full 25 minutes or so to leave...I admire his willpower, though ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~
armourdilo
Pet Peeve 35: Players discriminating about age. Why can't 30 year olds have fun on Runescape? Why can't 10 year olds socialise? (excluding safety reasons) Frankly, It's stupid and annoying that people can have these biases. I will personally flame anyone in game whom says this kind of crap. witchylucy
My current peeve is cannons at green dragons. It is hard enough to compete with the other ten players trying to slay green dragons without some eejit (or two) plonking down a cannon (or two or more) and setting it off. NOBODY gets a chance then and I am seeing this more and more often. The most likely culprit is some kid who doesn't have the testicles to take on a green dragon one on one. Spoils all the fun really. This holiday weekend has been a nightmare for cannons at green and blue dragons. Time for jagex to make ALL dragons a cannon free zone.
witchylucy
An while I am on a roll.... You want to borrow my whip? You pay 10k/hr. Thats the call I make, so don't argue with me. Don't abuse me because I don't give you what you want. If Joe bloggs is happy to give you it for free than go to him. Oh and hitting accept and not putting in money? You think I am stupid and wont notice? And if you cannot afford more then 1 hour because you don't have the trade limit? Not my problem. Go and do a few quests to bring up your trade limit so you can have the whip for longer. Saying all of the above, if somebody is polite and actually communicates, than I will give it for less and happy to add and renew it if they want. witchylucy
I don't think you understand my point. Someone comes along and sets up a cannon and ALL spots are compromised. A cannon takes out a number of dragons. Not just one. So when somebody sets up a cannon it not only takes one spot but two or three (or more) spots. Karma had her moment yesterday. Cannon owner got owned by a rev  yesterday. Interestingly enough, not one person helped him out, and he was calling for help like a baby. Plenty of us could have. We did have 5 minutes to kill a few dragons though.

pwniez
My pet peeve, I just learned I had. Two, actually. I was at Grand Exchange, getting ready to go on a slayer mission. I was ranging, since I want to get my range level up. Which, make that three. Im not quite able to wear black d'hide, but thanks to ruby bolts and such I have no problem hitting 40+'s on the kbd, so when I go there with friends, I must get half a dozen "nice red dragonhide. noob" 's. Anyway, back on topic. This random noob is running around telling everyone"I got laid! I got laid!" This might be the saddest person in the world. Not only was she (yes, she) bothering tons of people, following them, telling them, and generally being annoying, but she gets laid (at 17) and her first response is to go on runescape and tell everyone at the grand exchange. Come on.I got laid at 16, but I didn't brag about it... much less on runescape. Before you read this next part, whatever beliefs you have about God are your own personal beliefs and I respect that ;DAfter a long, healthy conversation about how she should shut up, maybe text some friends instead? Or leave us alone? She says she lives in Utah(Note: I'm not a stalker, she brought all this up)I asked if she was Mormon. She says "nah, I'm athiest... I h8 mormonz lol. my parents r mormons."Then "Wel, u cant b a tru athies unles you hav reason lol. Im more budist or wiccan." What. The. Censored. 1. True buddists give up all their worldly possesions. If you do not do this, you are in no way a true buddist. She says "yeh wel its hard 2 giv up all ur stuff. gota build up 2 it"Some members of my family became buddists. They gave up all their stuff cold turkey- after they flew to India.2. She has some false idea in her head (probably) that wiccans can do magic. They cannot. Most athiests will agree with me on that.Besides that, Wiccans believe in two gods. So not only is she in no way a true buddist, she is not even a true wiccan or athiest. When I pointed that out, she said "I folo like my own religon and stuf. take like best from al 3." By the end of the 45 minute exchange, I was hoping she would say she was joining a newer version of the People's Temple (google it). But, instead, she logged out. Thats what I get for debating with a noob. >_>
