2. High level players who mine Mithril, successfully preventing me from doing so, just to "alch" it. I can pretty much guarantee you that in the time it takes you to mine that Mithril rock, you could have mined twice as much worth of coal, so why don't you stop being a jackass and actually let people who NEED those ores, use them?

 

3. This one really bothers me, and so far as I'm concerned, is a perfect example of the way that the majority of players in Runescape simply have no regard for anyone but themselves.

 

People who, while also mining coal in the Mining Guild, will come over to start mining the rock that you've been mining for the last fifteen seconds, as though there aren't 36 other rocks, just because your rock is one step closer to them than the next available rock. I'm very, very close to getting into the habit of reporting all these people as bots, whether they are or aren't. There just simply is no excuse for being that rude, crude, and ignorant to another human being, and assuming that they're bots or using macros is the only way I can keep myself from quitting the game and getting away from such an abhorrent attitude towards other players.

 

4. This one has less to do with players and more to do with bad luck. Since that first lucky day in the Mining Guild, I have spent the last three entire days, hopping from World to World, trying to find one where the mithril rocks weren't being hoarded by some high level player, with absolutely no success. Way to make the game playable for everyone, Jagex.

 

 

 

I gave up on the Mining Guild long ago. Between bots and greedy ppl, many of whom are one in the same, it just wasn't worth my time and effort. I get far more mithril ore by killing cockroach workers than I would if I spent the same amount of time mining it anywhere on the RS map. I swear. Give it a try.

There are very few people I talk to, and it's because I feel that the players as a whole have become more mean spirited and brash.

 

You can play the way you want but please don't try to bring people down when they're vulnerable. I meet friendly players every now and then, but I don't appreciate stuck up kids who feel that they have to bring pain to others.

What really annoyed me is when a user of the tip it forums kept annoying me and patronising me and ruined my birthday party.

They then kept annoying me and spewing out hatred and spam and talking as if they knew everything and constantly picking at everything i say and commenting negatively on it.

Ugh, currently at MA and getting kind of pissed off with some of the players.

 

First of all nobody follows the fast MA thing where blue always wins. Ok fine, be selfish bastards, I'm watching TV anyway. Or am I?

 

No. Because about 40% of the time some [wagon] has to go trying to slaughter me before the clock hits 26. Always me. Of the dozens of times I've seen another player attack someone else, only 3-4 have not been me. They've never succeeded in killing me before 26, but if forces me to actually pay attention to the horrible excuse for an RTS that is MA. As if it weren't bad enough already. :wall:

 

Good thing free chat isn't allowed there, or it'd probably be even more full of trolls.

Yeah, you know what, I am. It's quite possibly the worst RTS in the history of the genre. So dreadfully dull that anyone that claims to enjoy it is either lying, trolling, or insane (from the same ilk that claims to "enjoy" skilling :rolleyes: ).

 

Yeah nothing I can really do about it, but that's why this is the rants forum and not general discussion.

i hate noobs who think they're " all that" because they can afford all gs's, d claws, santa, etc. so what if i have a life? ur really just showing off that u don't. im talking about the person who doesnt sleep for a week to get 60 mining, then sleep a full day, order the WHOLE Pizza Hut, then play again the next day, only stopping for drinks and tying a bottle to ur ankle, not the ones who play maybe 3 hours a day in ur free time.
