I've been wanting a decent looking training weapon for ages, and if the D Scim was a bit better, that would be it. March 18, 200917 yr The dragon scimitar used to snare you on the spot That was the Abyssal whip, not the dragon scimitar. As for the Barrelchest Anchor. Yes it was nerfed. But it had to be nerfed, it was far too overpowered by any standards.

March 18, 200917 yr I don't remember the anchor ever being nerfed, but I'll take your word on it since I don't think I was a member at the time that the quest came out. I don't know what they did with the dragon scimitar other than its special used to work on the kalphite queen in being able to stop her prayer from working and now it doesn't do that.
March 18, 200917 yr Loads of things have been nerfed, i remember the whip one well (max or 0) They haven't even mentioned half of the nerfing (for example Bone Crossbow Just got this off runescape wiki Originally when the anchor was first released, the Strength bonus was 80 and the cost to buy a new anchor was 50,000 coins, along with the speed being 5 bars on Jagex's scale. It was then changed to 700,000 coins for a new one with an 87 strength bonus. Later, it was changed again to 230,000 coins for all repairs and stats changed to 92 crush and 100 strength bonus, as well as achieving the current speed. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
March 18, 200917 yr I remember hearing about the whip being nerfed, but was too poor to get one.. so it didn't affect me. :P I also think the old whip animation was cooler.

March 18, 200917 yr Mage Short Bow Winner winner Chicken Dinner, only problem is that it's not a quest related item...but nerfed...very much so. I remember all the other specials being nerfed, most specifically the anchor, because that is the one I had used to some extent before the nerf. Oh well, they are just trying to keep the game "balanced"... A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
March 18, 200917 yr Nerfing you say? Karambwan, chocolate bombs, air striking, flowering, whip, dscim, gmaul, anchor, msb, freemagexpatsc, "unidentified herbs?", etc etc etc... can't think of any more, the damn Karambwan nerf annoyed me though.
