couldn't you use a telegrab? or does that not work in there.

Just remember what Voltaire says "I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it" Anyways I've found this skill/minigame to be pretty fun. It definitely is suited towards groups and I hate the waiting room aspect of it, but once you get into the dungeon its not bad. I'm even considering renewing my membership because of it. I want to be able to use higher level armor as right now I can already use the highest f2p stuff and i'm a little bit sick of it.

I remember my first day of Runescape pretty well. My friends had been trying for a long time to get me to play. I told them so many times that it was stupid. 5 years later, though I may not play much anymore, i still check up on all the updates and talk about it with my friends who still play. I started an account at my friends house and I was terrible at the game. It must taken an hour for me to get passed the tutorial. Then as soon as I got out I died against a spider and lost all the equipment I was given. After that I met my first friend in the game. She had asked me for a bucket and I told her I didn't have one haha. That's how all friends should be made right there. After that I just remember going into the cow pen and burying a ton of bones because I loved prayer. I can't stand it now. Ah...those were good good times

I'm not a fan of having to take my members garb off. I know some of you don't think its a big deal because we can just go get members again. I only come on to do holiday events. If I were to want to just log on one random day though, I would like to be seen in the outfit that I like. I would be grateful If Jagex were to let Ex-Members reattach our items for a week or so. I'm going to miss my cape =(

How'd you figure that? 2 slayer masters died. Nomore have died And since Kuradel AND Laplok are in-game at the same time it suggests a new master not a replacment. Equally you're wording is fail neway because there are 6 slayer masters as it is, not 1 =P On-topic: Deffo seems intriguing Sorry, I forgot that everyone associated with slayer is called a slayer master. I thought it was pretty easy to figure out that I just meant the NPCs that wear the slayer cape. Anyways...While she has been seen within the game she doesn't have a current role with anything yet. In Harry Potter no one was able to stay in that teaching position between books. I was just saying that we've had 3 people wear the slayer cape all from Shilo (assuming that she is from there which also seems kinda obvious with her name and face paint) I also don't actually think the position at Shilo is literally cursed. It was just a similarity that I noticed.

Its starting to seem like the slayer master position is as cursed as the Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers in Harry Potter lol.

Though I don't really play anymore and have lost membership I am pretty upset by this update. Not to start any sort of political rant here, but it kind of reminds me of a socialist country's decision with this update. We have the people who have worked hard to achieve success to only have it denied in the most practical situation to make the game fair for everyone else. I think this was probably one of the updates they should have just left alone.

I knew about zezima before I even started playing from my friends. Just a thought...has Jagex confirmed at all that people will keep their names between runescape and mechscape? If not what if someone else took Zezima's name before the real one he had the chance to claim it? That would be interesting

I can't say I've ever been abused for typing correctly. I always try to because it helps communicating online. I know very little internet chat so I don't assume that other people would know it. It took me a while to find out of Rofl meant. I dont have a real problem with anyone else talking like that though except for ur. Whenever someone types ur I think that they're saying err not your/you're.

Personally I'm just happy that they are making a new slayer monster. There's so much more potential for this skill that they havent released yet. I'm not quite sure what I'd name it though and I have yet to find any suggestions that have really popped at me. As for this whole 78/95 monster debate I'm kind of thinking that having a level system is a bad thing in this scenario. Think about it for a second. Everyone is complaining about the experience gap. It would probably be better to say that you can fight this monster at X experience. But that's besides the point since it doesn't work that way. I don't think people should be complaining as much as they are though just because they have put way more time into slayer than others. I don't even have 78 slayer but that doesn't make me a noob when it comes to the skill nor does that make me a 10-13 year old immature kid. Someday I think Jagex will make more high leveled content, but lets just count our blessings for right now.

My brother accused me of being addicted to Runescape not too long ago. We made a bet that I wouldn't play for the whole month of march...so i've spent my time looking at these forums instead haha. I'm not addicted in my opinion. I play for how long I want, but I know how to organize my priorities decently well. (I'll admit that I was really lazy about practicing my instrument until now though.) It might seem like an addiction at some times though....like when I was trying to get 99 firemaking and I played for 6 hours a day...But I just wanted to finish the goal so I could stop.

My friend and I were talking about possible future skills now that sailing has been confirmed as not being a new skill. (thank god) And we were trying to think about what new skill they could possibly be working on and what skills could come out in the future. I mentioned archeology to him and we kind of figured that there is too much archeology themed stuff out already for it to become a skill. After I read this however, I really want them to make it in any way possible. This is probably the best skill concept I've seen in a long time with the only other good one being...engineering i think? Your idea definitely beats that though. So I support it fully and I really hope it comes out.

I don't remember the anchor ever being nerfed, but I'll take your word on it since I don't think I was a member at the time that the quest came out. I don't know what they did with the dragon scimitar other than its special used to work on the kalphite queen in being able to stop her prayer from working and now it doesn't do that.

I'll probably be long gone from the game. Unfortunately its hard to go off to college and expect to have a lot of time to play especially since a music major requires your day to comprise of practicing and more practicing. I want to try and get 99 summoning before I finally quit though. Or hopefully one of my friends can get it and let me play on their account for a few minutes and see how awesome a steel titan really is.

I'm usually not mean to noobs. In fact I used to go around giving new players full steel just because I could. I think people get tired of dealing with them after a while though. Also you find those people who follow you around asking you how to get somewhere and then you say "check your map" or "go west" and they continue to follow you anyways. It just gets annoying after a while.

ah, I remember my first attempt. It takes me back..... I just got hacked for the first time and lost a load of mithril stuff ( i know. Its a huge loss) I had started not too long ago so I didn't know of any good ways of making money. Then I saw the smithing skill. I can make my own rune armor?! Great Scott! How silly I was to think that I could actually get that 99. Especially since I was mining my own ore to get it and i didn't even know how much experience it took to get a 99 skill. I got bored really easily. Around 63 mining I think and then stopped. I smithed what I had and I think got to the 50's. That was the end of that. Around the same time I made a bet with 2 of my friends on who could get the first 99 skill. After 3 years of doing nothing I decided on firemaking because it was fast and one of my friends had 95 fletching so I needed to catch up. I went from 60fm-99 in 3 months and finally getting it on Christmas at 11:00 before my friend got 99 fletching.

That's so mean of them to do, but at the same time that is one of the best things they could have ever done. It reminds me of all the quests where there are cut scenes of valuable items getting destroyed or taken by another person (W.O.M.) and you're just sitting at your computer wishing that you could find a glitch to be able to take the items. And then you get disappointed. I really need to get 85 slayer now =/

Summoning for sure. Can you imagine what it would be like in a PVP world? "Oh hello little noob lvl 3 what are you doing out here in the big bad wilderness? I'd like to introduce you to my friend Abyssal Whip." "Hai mister lvl 70 I'd like to introduce you to my best friend...Mr. Steel Titan" :o "Finish Him!" It would go something like that.

I'll probably stay until i have nothing more i want to accomplish. I'll probably be around to get 99 in most buyable skills and possibly combat. Right now though I think it will most likely be either when i get those goals or when i go to college since music school won't exactly be a breeze. Who knows what will happen after i stop being busy with school.

If they do come out with archeology as a skill I highly doubt that they would release it through the kudos isle. The reason for that is with the fact that you can't just walk in to the museum and get rewarded the kudos to be able to travel there. You have to complete a lot of quests and other things to be able to travel and I don't think Jagex would release a skill that is limited to so few people at one time.

Having 99 Firemaking myself I know that its not a noob cape. I'll admit though I only chose to get that cape because I had a bet with my friends on who could get the first 99 skill. (I won that bet even though my friend had 95 fletching when i only had 60 firemaking.)The cape took forever to get so I don't think people should be able to call it a noob cape. 3 months of straight firemaking was a pain. And I don't know about most of you, but I don't have 32mil to buy magic logs and get 99 in a week. If i did have 32mil to spend i would use it on something else and burn maples logs still instead. The skill itself might not be useful at all, but who really cares? What use is smithing since it costs more to make the armor yourself than it does to just go and buy it? I still respect that cape though because it took hard work. Also note that more people have the strength cape than firemaking, but i still think its cool when people have that cape on. I think that people need to go through the pain themselves to appreciate it a little bit more although I always get compliments on it :-k
