Oh, just remembered, when Stealing Creation came out if you had a friend on the other team, you could just pickpocket them nonstop and get like 500k exp an hour. The current Runetracker record for thieving is held by Nercychlidae, who did this. I think it was fixed pretty quick though.

Thats what I thought at first but she was definetly following the guy, like not aimlessly walking about, i dc'ed before the game ended so I don't know if she was in the game with him. Maybe it was just conincidental movement.

 

Well, I'm not sure if this applys to all NPCs (never tested it) but when you talk to a wizard in GOP, as long as no one else talks to it or interact with it, and you stay either next to it or ontop of it (8 squares around the NPC and the square the NPC is standing on). It will not move and will attempt to follow you. Perhaps that is what has happened here.

2.) If you killed a NPC at the exact moment it healed a hit point, it would walk around, bowed to the ground.

NOT AWESOME, happened to me at the boss of the quest slugg menace. it kept attacking me while i was watching the cutscene. it attacked so fast that i couldn't click on the "click here to continue" >_> i died...couldn't do anything about it =(

The µ bug is an alt code that when typed, everyone that sees it will crash in game. Made it a pain in high risk situations such as god wars/BH/PVP.

 

 

 

Penguin spotting is also pretty recent. Multiple clicks on same penguin give you alot of peng points. My friend got 99 slayer from 54 in a day with this. Banned obviously, I torture him regularly about this.

 

 

 

Fally Massacre or Fally 666 is on June 6, 2006 when Cursed You's 99 con party (1st 99 con in game) got out of hand and a bug that allows people to attack each other outside of wildy was discovered. Not fun if your name is not durial.

 

 

 

Item Duping was a glitch in rsc that allowed a player to copy items, most notably, the Pink (or now known as Purple) Partyhat. Went from the most expensive partyhat to the cheapest one in a day.

it wasn't item duping it was item creating. ;)

Shadow Spider bug in classic was interesting. Very low key too.

 

 

 

Also shooting members arrows in f2p in classic was very low key too.

 

Knife bug was hyped for it's time, and the mmmmm bug.

 

Digsite rocks were bugged too, some guy got 800k mining xp from them and was banned pretty quick.

I entered the Stealing Creation Lobby at the exact moment that the game started. No one could here me, even though i could see dots. I eventually tried to walk and I was loaded into the waiting area. :lol:

For one day, during RSC, when you typed in "#" (or at least I think it was that key) everything you said would appear vertically instead of horizontal. That was such a fun day :)

I just remembered a glitch I got a loooong time ago, back when the wildy was still around. Me and some friends were exploring the wildy and then a ranger attacks us. We were doing okay and then he ran to no multi and he was attacking me. At 7 hp I teleported to Varrock. There was an arrow flying at me when I clicked the telport button. I appeared in Varrock with full health and all of my stuff. My friends chased off the ranged after I teleported and said that all of my stuff was on the ground afterward. My friend even showed me the mithril I had been wearing.

I'm not sure if this is a bug/glitch, but when you were certain hats, and take them off, you are bald, if happened to me with a dagon hai hat recently..

i'm surprised no one remembers the bandages bug?? When castle wars first came out there was a way of getting bandages out of castle wars into the normal rs world... no big deal right? The CATCH is that bandages didn't count as "food" in the duel arena. So a relatively small number of stakers stockpiled these bandages and waited a few days until jagex had fixed the bug so that you could no longer take the bandages out of castle wars, however, these people already had a number of bandages in the bank. All of a sudden high stakes duels were being rigged and quite a number of unfortunates lost p hats and other large sums of money because of this bug. It was fixed pretty shortly after that, but rumors persisted for a good half a year of some people still having small amounts of bandages left.

I just remember people selling bandages for like 1M each and getting banned for item scamming.

There was another bug like the 6/6/06 bug at the fight pits where someone was able to attack people in the waiting area(i think it was the waiting area.) There is a youtube video of the guy getting teled by a jmod to outside the map by TOG.

Walking anywhere, or getting to where you shouldn't normally be able to.

If an un-skulled player with auto retaliate on gets attacked by a bunch of people who attack all at the same time, there's a good chance they get skulled. Existed since rs2 I think, certainly from chaos elemental. Still exists as far as I'm aware.
