D: < Can't make up my mind (99 question)

Okay.

So I got my firemaking cape like, back in September if I remember correctly. (stupid me didn't write down the date)

And it's almost been a year. And I'm itching for a 99.

I don't really care what it is, or even the fact of how low or high my levels are.

Money, and time, I don't care about either. =)

Gimme a skill to 99. \'

Depending on budget: Fletching, cooking (cheap) but a lot of people have them

Herblore, crafting (more expensive)

Construction, smithing (very expensive)

Depending on time:

RC (LOOOONG)

woodcutting

Agility

mining

Those are nice ones IMO.

Providing I have the budget, I'd choose smithing or crafting. Fletching an dcooking are a bit too common, might as wel get a "respected" cape, whatever that means. I think any 99 is an achevement anyway, since I have none yet after about 4,5 years of play.

I don't have the patience for agility and mining. WC is bearable.

Dont go for ones cause they look cool, or are hard, or because you'll get praised from them.

IMO 99 firemaking sucks and is the stupidest one there is, but I like the cape AND the emote. I'm going to say it may be why you got it too?

Anyway, 99s are there for a reason. To show skill, but noone cares anymore. So really its down to what you like. Pick your favourite skill and get it to 99.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

If i were you i'd keep on your goal to 99 rc that you had not long ago

Other than that i'd go for the smithing or the crafting ::'

Or you could go for the attack 99 perhaps?

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

2672nd person to reach 2496 total.
Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

I'd say range, since you have several options on how to do it and it's very useful. You could do aviansies all the way and earn big money, you could do aviansies + chinning and break even or you could just spend lots of cash on chins and get it fast. By the time you hit 99, or even 90+, you can earn lots of cash on Kree and/or Zil (after getting your defence up a bit). ::'

Crafting seems good. ::'

Hmm.

I'm looking at different methods, what would you suggest doing? I'm thinking d'hide bodys, then reselling back to the GE.

And how much do you think it would cost overall?

I calculated about 27 million using Sacred Clay Needles making Green Dragonhide bodies. That's the cheapest method that uses dragonhides, and is decently fast.

Not sure how the opportunity costs match up to blue/red/black (the last two are probably not worth it), but green is probably best. (If you want to know for sure, try running the calculations yourself, but I might be able to if I found the time)

If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

Well im going to be a rebel and say... Get what you enjoy doing.

I know, its cliched. But if you enjoy something then why not get 99 in it. It seems you enjoy RCing so why not go for the 99 in that. I'm sure with the RC level you have now you could easily afford to get 99 cooking/fletching. I could easily do the same thing to just trim my attack cape <3: , but i don't want to get it trimmed doing something i don't enjoy.

Yeah.

Just achieved 90 rc not long ago, I think I was heading in that direction already, just got a little distracted.

I find even 90 rc very impressive. :ohnoes: Crafting cape is pretty cool though, and it's not like a see a ton of those. :D And if you made dhide bodies, you could rc the nats and alch the bodies, and get rc and magic exp! Hooray for exp! :D
