Order of thing I should get?

 

I have whip, glory, berserker HELM, rune plate and legs, guth book/rune kite/ mith defender (so far).

 

Oh and warriors ring. Stats in signature. Fury, guth maybe, berserker ring, rune defender (time to get from mith defender?) dragon boots (rune currently),these are all items that have been recommended for me to get. Order, and any additions?

Godswords are only usful if you are boss hunting or PvP.

 

 

 

For regular training and slayer stick to whip and rune defender combo.

Why?

Seeing as you have a goal of 99 hunter you could just stick to that and you'll get the money eventually. Cat666 got a point though.. Godswords aren't really useful for.. well.. anything at all. >.

Godswords are slow and are only useful for their specs. Like Cat666 said, use a whip + rune defender unless u plan on doing a lot of GWD or PVP.

 

 

 

As for making money, here are some options:

 

 

 

1. Green Dragons

 

2. Hunting Chins

 

3. Fishing lobsters

Godswords are overrated, whip is better for 90% of activites(Godswords are mainly good for tormented demons and saradomin godwars)

 

My advice: don't get a godsword

Fury is one of the best purchases you can make.

 

Also, why would you need a godsword for soul wars? I alread said whip is better for 90% of things, pvp included(Unless its an ags spec)

Just borrow one, thats the best way w/o collecting the 17m and take any risks for you.

Speaking of price, what's the price difference between a BGS and a Fury?... About 16m?... Well a fury is 16 million times more useful than a BGS.. :

Its slow speed is less useful than a whip at any levels. Most runescapers are misguided into thinking godsword > everything else when boss hunting, This is wrong, rune defender and whip is the best for things like Bandos, Zamorak or the KBD, as well as owning godswords in just about every low level monster.

 

Also, as a side note, Rune defender > dragonfire shield for everything except Dragons. period.

Whip and defender combo is actually better at godwars dungeon than the godsword. Still, godsword could be used as a spec weapon.(Or maybe you could save money by using D hally for special? Seems it would be pretty decent?)

 

 

 

To the original poster, I would save up your money, don't buy a godsword if it takes all of your money.

DO NOT BUY BGS!!!! It SUCKS trust me!! Use that money for bandos + whip for training. IF you want a GS buy sara or armd they are useful. Unlike BGs and Zgs ( Well, I think its not all bad, thats just me : ).

Buy a SGS or an AGS. I've owned all 4 godswords, and I like the SGS the most. It's healing ability is incredibly useful.

Your Stats arent anywere NEAR good enough for a BGS, or any kind of GS for that matter. Get some 90's, or atleast some 85's then start thinking about an BGS. Any Fury>glory, Berserker>Warrior.

The fastest no-luck way of gaining money is to farm (kwuarm, ranarr or snapdragons and marigolds) in between green dragon or avainsie trips.

 

The cash per hour from greens and avainsies is 300k+ (400k per hour is possible) if done right and the farming will net in the region of 100k (110k if you farm per harvest cactus spines) which works out at ~550k to 660k per 1h 30m.

 

 

 

But get fury first as its one of the best investments I've made.

 

Then guthans/veracs then a fremmy ring and then a GS.

 

 

 

In truth a GS at your levels wouldn't be very worthwhile, any GWD team will want atleast 100+ combat.

 

 

 

I don't know about soulwars, but with PC you need 100+ combat for decent points and whip/rune defender its better.

Ummm, SGS is ONLY good for Slayer because of the spec. IMO i would not waste any money on a SGS. Had one for 2weeks then sold it, i was dearly dissapointed.

Fury first? I have mith defender(:?), how long for a rune? 70 def and get Guthans?

Don't buy a BGS yet. Borrow one first, and then decide if you want to waste your money.
