Master_Smither Posted June 14, 2009 Share Posted June 14, 2009 So I start off today with some slayer but killer asks me to come trick with him. So we do and we both wreck our EP and I'm like um..... I'll get dp while watching 20+ wild fights. So me and Aegis Titan do that until I get 100% dp and then I go onto tricking with a friend of mine Well things start off great.... #1: They are still going great and which I am amazed by.. #2: Then they start to slow down but it's still above average. #3: Things are starting to calm down but it's still very good for my luck. #4: Then when it seems like things are coming to a grind halt I just die of shock :shock: :o #5: I did a #6 but it wasn't very good at all just got his gp and junk bolts. Six kills 27M and 2 hours of getting EP up. Kills are in order as you see in the EP and the DFS went from 14%-3% EP so I am guessing EP doesn't matter too much. Hate as you wish this has to be one of my luckiest days ever. I did something similar yesterday, got my EP to 100% whilst woodcutting & burning & then tricked with a friend. I only ended up with about 500k worth of stuff in total - the best being D boots on last kill, which was achieved with 3% EP. Lets hope I get some of that luck today........ I was still getting better drops after 0% than I normally would, so it would seem there is a residual effect. Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it. Very awsome! \ I think the loots in BH worlds are much better than in pvp worlds.. tonight, I have spent 30 mins (In normal world, went to hotzone, and logged off, and logged in in a BH world.) in a BH world, got 0%EP -----> 25% EP. I was unskulled. Can anyone provide more data on the EP% you get in different situations? I will show you how to do this: [hide=]1. walk to a hotzone in a normal world, not PVP or BH world. Place could be like wildy somewhere quiet. 2. Log off, and chose a PVP or BH world. 3. Log in, stay there, time it, in around 30 mins you will get a EP% update. 4. Do not go into safe areas, like tele away, or walk into cold zone. 5. If someone comes, log off quickly. Same thing 25% every 30 minutes 3. unskulled in a BH world, 30 mins with entering the safe zone. 20% if you spend longer than 10 minutes in a safezone between when your DP updates. 4. skulled in a BH world, 30 mins with entering the safe zone. Same as above 20% if you spend longer than 10 minutes in a safe zone. As for EP I believe it's the chance that you get the items they are wearing because I noticed when I killed a person and got their armour my EP went down more than when I kill a friend and get their 25K. From the results, it seems the skulled or unskulled doesn't really matter on the EP% you get. as well as the combat level. Looks like this EP% thing is almost come to a conclusion. Example: 50% EP Killed someone who was skulled with full veracs, dfs, fury, alchs etc. They did not protect item, so the shield was lost btw. (even if that bit is wrong, it was still a verac/fury etc loss) I dropped to 24% EP, getting an ancient staff and some other junk. They were level 134, I was level 133. My Tip.it goals/achieves blog. With the new display, it now is, but all accounts carry forth their previous EP, however high it may be. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers. (i'm a lover, not a fighter! but i really want some brawling gloves...) i was running around a lot, just trying to figure out what i could *do* to skill and not get pulled into a fight. at one point i had the bright idea to hop to f2p, in case the ep was linked. well, i went from 43% ep on p2p to 309% on f2p. i didn't screen shot it because i didn't know it was odd. anywho, time passed and i gained some ep. it dropped to 100% on f2p and i freaked out. *^_^* i hopped back to p2p and found my ep was at 14%. :wall: i did not kill anyone. unfortunately a friend had followed me from p2p to f2p, and when she returned to p2p her ep had dropped from 87% to 19%. she did not kill anyone either. this may be a result from the latest update. but i wouldn't recommend hopping between p2p and f2p. But sorry about your EP loss. The EP's aren't linked. 100% ep is the max you can get, except some people had higher because Jagex didn't cap it until the update.
