June 15, 200917 yr Find me any equipment in game that actually looks anything close to what those people are wearing. The mage is wearing either salve amulet or amulet of strength. :P Why would a mage use a strength or salve amulet...it's goblins not undead monsters. Ehh, for looks? The amulet clearly matches the robes. Why do people wear partyhats or halloween masks? For looks. ........::::: Rainy's YouTube Channel - Rainy's Twitter - Rainy's Facebook - Rainy's DeviantArt - Rainy's Tumblr - Rainy's Tip.It Profile :::::.........

June 15, 200917 yr I liked the guy who got hit a 0 by jad, with no prayer and the melee attack. Other than that, trailers are always kind of dumb in my eyes. The game is never anything like the trailers, so why switch to a game because of a trailer? My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

That's messed up way of thinking. Players can wear stuff ingame for looks, but story line of a game isen't supposed to that way. Like you cant say "I am a ranger", then your using a staff and casting spells.. The stupid thing about Jagex artwork is that they take something extremely boring from the game and turn it into a "GREAT ARTWORK" like that and fool you into believing its fun. Players vs Goblins in-game: 1,2 and 3- all goblins are down.
June 15, 200917 yr I can't get to it. Delete all cookies, or just go to http://RuneScape.com/splash.ws ;)
June 15, 200917 yr hmm, did anyone else notice that at the end, the trailer say's,"free to play," While most of those scenes are members only, like the jad one, or the dragon forging?

Of course, but it's better to draw a artwork of a player fighting General Graardor with R E A L ingame equipment setup and weapons and enviroment than draw a lame battle with players vs weak goblins with equipment setup that is clearly not in the game! Just loook at these two art work some players have made: Majority of equipment they are wearing is in the game and such great artworks!

A ranger would use armor and weapons suited for a Ranger A mager would use armor and weapons suited for a Mager So on. In-game however that is irelevant, because it's up to you what you like.
June 15, 200917 yr I think you'll find they employ the equal opportunity act at Jagex, they already have female staff  That would be new though, amours for different sex's, new staff pft, like Magic needs more power.. Guess I should have worded it differently. I meant the staff the female is WIELDING. Simple misunderstanding. :D Only fear God,Know the weapons of the weak,The weakness of the hard.

June 15, 200917 yr Ah ok, but the outfit matches so it isnt all mixed up. And in a way, the people in the wallpaper/background symbolize players, not quest characters or anything that has any effect on the runescape storyline. All i know is that this artwork is not the best. I wish Jagex artists drew things that the Players did in the game. How many players kill goblins? Only low levels and those who are extremely bored.. Example Den, i wish they drew a player soloing Bandos boss or attempting it. I wish they drew players fishing... I wish they drew players leveling. It's art i am sure they can make Summon leveling look awesome looking. But what do the artists do? Draw players on 1 side and goblins on other side, and sun in middle with a bridge. Players looking all "I am gonna beat you!" and Goblins "We are so weak". That's really lame compared to what i have seen, and the items worn are not in the game (Perhaps that's a strength amulet)!

Perhaps the Lumbridge scene signifies the beginning of a great adventure, afterall everyone starts out from there. But I'm sure they could've drawn those characters in something like blue wizard(g) and blessed dragonhide, in a very concept art-like manner. If that's a strength amulet, then the guy must be wearing steel armor with medium helm for headgear. Looks like trimmed version too! June 15, 200917 yr Jagex uses bosses most of time in advertisements, they should do that when it comes to Art work too.
June 15, 200917 yr love the trailer, jagex are stepping up on marketing, it is one of the best mmorpgs so rightly so

June 16, 200917 yr The real problem in here occurs at 0:18. You can't solo Kree with a dragon longsword, you can't even do damage!
June 16, 200917 yr There's water in between them. It's obviously Sailing. :-# Meh, Old joke is old. Anyway, I just found this this morning when I was upgrading Safari 4. As pointed out, the add was targeted at new players, not the old hands. Newer players wouldn't know that Kree is not meleeable. If you want, I'm sure you could send your resumé to public relations of Jagex if these things bother you that much. ;) That said, I agree, the boss rooms could make some great artwork. 8-) this link kills spam
June 16, 200917 yr If this actually has anything to do with new content in-game..(doubt it..) Clue that Salve ammy will work with magic and mages get new staff? Goals: 94 magic94 ranged55 slayerAddy gloves-done
